About this item:
Logitech Wireless Mouse Marathon M705 lets you power on... and on. It uses far less power than comparable wireless mice from other companies, so you'll go up to three full years between battery changes.* And it uses a tiny wireless receiver that stays plugged in to your computer, so your mouse is ready to go-whenever, wherever, and for as long as it takes. Plus, hyper-fast scrolling means you'll fly through long documents to find what you need in a flash. Advanced Optical Tracking means you'll get smooth, responsive cursor control. And the sculpted, right-hand shape means you'll be as comfortable finishing up as you were getting started.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great mouse
First one purchased the M705 , it turned out to be defective. It would start scrolling on its own when in rapid scroll mode. Logitech said to return it. Next was the M510, it was noticeably smaller, too small and was returned. Then finally after a long wait received the M720 mouse. This one is working as it should, no ghost scrolling. It is very comfortable in the hand, the scroll wheel is comfortable as well. The wheel is flat on top with a rubber strip for comfort and grip. The rapid scroll is very useful if you look at alot of documents. You can also push down on the scroll wheel until it clicks. This mode will automatically scroll the page as you slightly move the mouse down or up. I am liking this mode best. The clickers work well to. Very ergonomic fit and feels well made. The M720 only uses one battery and clams long life. I've used Logitech in the past and was surprised at dip in quality, but this one is a good one.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Computer Mouse!
I absolutely love this mouse! I currently own two, and one of them has lasted around 5 years – the battery life alone is incredible, easily lasting over 3 years. The mouse is really smooth and comfortable to use, with satisfying clicks that aren’t too loud or annoying. It has a decent weight, but the design fits perfectly in my hand, making it easy to move around. The black matte color adds a sleek touch. Plus, installation is a breeze – just plug in the USB, and it connects instantly to any desktop or laptop!
4.0 out of 5 stars An upgrade from commodity mice
I own a number of Logitech mice, and have been buying them for many years, going back to the early 1990s. They've always been the best quality and design. I really do like this mouse, but it's not without a few issues. For one, the scroll wheel is too loose feeling, and not of the same quality as previous left/right/middle button scroll wheels on the other Logitech mice I've owned. The build quality of this feature really does need to be improved even if it means raising the price 20 bucks. The other issue is the forward/backward buttons on the side are too close to the device switcher button. This is a major design oversight, and what happens during usage is you'll accidently hit the switcher button, and deactivate the mouse! This is a button that should (and is on some models) be on the bottom of the mouse! This issue also kind of breaks the usability of the mouse for someone who doesn't understand it. They press the device switch, and the mouse just stops working. For someone like my mom with mild cognitive impairments, this is a deal breaker. This device switch can't be deactivated either. Logitech designers, please do put buttons like this near frequently used controls. Really, I don't understand how this feature got through design review. If design reviews are challenging to your company, please contact me, and I'll review it for free. The other issue isn't really with the mouse itself, it's the Logitech Options software on MacOS (Ventura). I have a 2017 MacBook Pro with the latest software. The Logitech Options mouse software frequently unloads or crashes after taking the laptop out of standby and has to be restarted. Even when it is running, it will lose the customer settings, scroll wheel settings, and mouse sensitivity settings. It's bad, and requires constant restarting or coaxing. Being software, I do hope Logitech fixes these bugs, but as of today, the software is junk and makes the mouse a pain to use, but is not a deal breaker. I use it anyway, and just deal with the software issues. The mouse itself works well in bluetooth mode, (even on an Apple) is fairly comfortable, and has decent ergonomics. I would prefer a larger mouse because my hands are large, but I guess that's my problem. Other than the wheel, the workmanship is good and I expect this mouse to last at least 3 years..For the price, you really can't beat it. The left/right scroll on the scroll wheel is the best feature at this price point even if the wheel is loose. With all it's issues this device is still so much better than those cheap commodity mice. For the price, I'd recommend it. Just be warned, it's not going to be easy to use on a Mac, and the device switching button is going to get hit now and then deactivating the mouse.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well over Bluetooth
I use this as my daily driver in conjunction with my laptop over Bluetooth. Some of the extra buttons are overkill for me, but they didn't get in the way. I notice that occasionally on some uneven surfaces the mouse can struggle tracking movement, but it isn't particularly a problem.
5.0 out of 5 stars Logitech quality at a great price
I've been a Logitech mouse fan forever and never had a bad experience. This M705 is a really nice mouse for the price. I bought this to use with my laptop tablet since I hate using the cursor pads that come with those devices. And since it's wireless, there are no hassles with wires and in this case no extra charger since it uses 2 AAA included batteries that are supposed to last a couple years or more before needing replacement. The mouse looks great and fits my hand perfectly and has a nice feel to it. The scroll wheel has two settings - free wheeling and a slower precise setting which is the one I prefer. The back and forward buttons are nicely positioned on either side of the mouse and quick to use. It wouldn't be a great gaming mouse like my Logitech G703, but for normal day-to-day use, I think it's great and you'd be happy with your purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great scrolling, lots of programmable buttons!
I was using an MX Vertical, and it stopped working properly (required extra clicks or automatically double-clicked). This happened after I updated to LogiOptions +, so it might have been the software. In general I really liked the MX Vertical, but this one is even better. It's still ergonomic and connects via bluetooth. It's shorter, so I don't have to move it off my keyboard tray to slide the tray under the desk. It has the same number of physical buttons, kind of. The top button only changes the scrolling action. I love the fast, smooth scrolling and ability to switch to slower if needed.Being able to reprogram almost all the buttons, plus having a hidden gesture (and click) button under the thumb, is exhilarating. I can remap the buttons for individual programs, so that tilting the scroll wheel will redo and undo in Word, or move back and forth between browser tabs. Since the thumb button can be clicked or used as a gesture button in four directions, there are even more possibilities.Small quibbles: I want to remap the quick-switch button that allows you to switch between devices, since I'm only using the mouse with one device. But this button can't be remapped. At least it's in the least convenient location for me. I also wish I could do "smart actions" for the gestures, but apparently not.

El mejor para el día a dia
Cómodo, rápido y muy útil para el día a día en la oficina
Incompleto
Llego sin el cuadrito sin el cuadrito transmisor usb
Not a great mouse.
The 2 buttons where your thumb goes are seem to have a mind of their own.The right click is way to sensitive and goes off when you think about it.So all in all I thought it was a terrible mouse.
Maravilloso mouse
