07/2024 - Updating after another season and 2 solid weeks of use - TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY. This sucker is fantastic. We have put it through the wringer over the past two weeks, up and down every day, on the beach for hours with decent winds every day. It sets up in less than 5 minutes and stays up for as long as you want it to.Pro tips:- lay it out flat and stretch the corners as far as you can before digging a hole for each pocket. Fill the pockets with sand and bury each pocket in the hole you dug for it. The pockets can hold so much sand - fill them as much as you can. The more you fill and the deeper you bury them, the more wind it can withstand.- once the corners are filled and buried, place the poles about 6 inches in from the corners of the top and stand those suckers up.- if you don’t want as much profile, you can get away with 2-3 poles in the front, setting the whole thing up like a lean-to.- secure the poles with the elastic ties and you’re golden.Update! I called customer service today and they returned my call within 10 mins. They ordered 2 replacement poles for me and expedited shipping so I will have the poles in 48 hours. Perfect customer service!Hi! I’ve been on the beach this week and we brought my Sun Ninja beach tent. Here’s my honest review:So easy! Just stretch the tent out flat on the sand, pulling the 4 corner pouches out super far. Dig holes for each pouch and start filling the pouches with the sand. Make sure the pouch is filled to the brim and snug down in that hole, then cover the pouch with even more sand so it’s buried in that hole. Then place the poles about a foot in from the corner seams, rubber ball up, and stake them down in the sand. You can use 2 poles to do like a lean-to, or 4 to give you more room. Put the elastic bungees on top so they attach the tent fabric to the rubber ball and pull tight. You’re done!When all the parts work, it’s amazing!Pros:✅ the XL is huge and shady and has room for 4 comfortably, but you could easily fit like 8-10 people under the shade in a pinch✅ when all the parts are working, you can have it up in 5 mins or less✅ when you have it up and staked right, it can withstand a lot of wind, not just breeze✅ comes with a great carry bag and small shovel to fill the pouchesCon - just one:❌ we’ve had 2 faulty poles that get stuck and won’t quite fit all the sections together snugly - I’m going to contact Sun Ninja and will update this review with their response

We bought this to have an option that was lightweight and easy to assemble and provided us shade against the blazing Southern sun.I had gotten a pop up canopy but it’s heavy and we didn’t want to perform a CrossFit challenge dragging it each time on the wagon through the sand. We got this tent and got it set up finally on beach and I was ready after many adult words, angry feelings over the amount of money spent, and 30mins trying to get this to work to send it all back till I decided to give one more chance and I read more reviews and discovered the issue so let me share my aha insights and hope they help you too!1. Make sure to unwrap before getting to beach why you ask? because the martial issues raised because your spouse is too slow while trying to peel cellophane off poles because it won’t assemble with it on there while your kids go insane because they have to wait while your eyes burn with sweat and sand isn’t worth the insanity. Trust me unpack and peel off the pole cellophane in air conditioning first it all goes easy peezy back into carry bag.2. Stretch the whole thing out to lay flat and the legs too. Make sure you have plenty of space we got the four pole version and it takes up space and so do the legs which are good for keeping some distance on beach in age of Covid3. Most important step fill up the sandbags to the very top and when you think you are done pull it up and shake it and then fill it up again. This should look like small boulder4. Stretch the legs out now further to make sure the fabric is tight like giant splat on the sand5. Put the poles in the front position first alone or at the diagonal if you have a partner6. Once poles are in you can adjust the bags again because this whole thing works on the material creating tension on the poles and allows for pole wiggle without falling down.You can set it up with all 4 poles or just two in the front.It’s super fast to take down once you get into the rhythm can have set up in 10 mins and I would say 3min breakdown as the sand slides right of bags and whole thing fits into small carry bag. Material is nice and well sewn. We used several times at beach and it held up to windy beach days and provided great shade. Overall very pleased with this tent and look forwards to using it on our next trip!

This is my second ninja!Adding it to our beach supply now that our daughter, SIL and grandson will be joining us in the beachThe product stand up to strong winds and is easy to set up. Don’t be fooled however… this large enough for 3-4 people

Lo compré sin mucha fe en ello pero me sorprendió muchísimo.Lo probé un día de mucho viento y aguanto en pie cuando las sombrillas no lo hicieron. Lo he colocado tanto en playas de arena como en playas de rocas y bien en las dos.La tela es de buena calidad, compré uno similar de otra tienda online y nada que ver y no ocupa nada una vez lo guardas en su funda. Todo un descubrimiento

Tolle Qualität, sehr groß, es hält auch im Wind ziemlich gut.Es ist alles sehr praktisch verpackt.Wir haben keinen Probeaufbau gemacht, sondern es direkt am Strand auaprobiert... der Empfang für das Anteiltungs-Video war zu schlecht, aber wir wurden der Sache Herr. Wenn man es mal gemacht hat, geht es sehr gut.Pro-Tipp: Wenn man die Tasche zu Ende ausräumt, bevor man die Säcke mühselig mit der Hand füllt, findet man auch eine Schaufel darin....so geht es viel schneller.
