This is a nice little boom box. The sound on it is really good. Has a good radio feature along with the cd player. Good value for the product. It comes in nice colors, I got the red and it's a really pretty red. It's not real big so it doesn't take up to much space.

I've been using the Megatek portable CD player for a few weeks now, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. The design is sleek and compact, making it perfect for on-the-go use. The sound quality is clear and crisp, which enhances my listening experience significantly.However, I did notice that the volume isn't as loud as I had expected. While it's adequate for quiet environments, it struggles a bit in noisier settings. This is the main reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five.Aside from the volume issue, the player offers great features like anti-skip protection and easy navigation through tracks.In summary, the Megatek portable CD player is a reliable and well-designed device with excellent sound quality, but the volume level could be improved for those who prefer louder listening.

I got this to play my cd collection in the studio where I work. It's got plenty of good sound, however, there are a couple of things I don't like. The "lid" or cd cover wants to close by itself as if there is a button to push. It doesn't open the same way, though. I'm afraid that eventually I am going to break it.The only other problem is that the unit has no stop button, nor track counter, so you can't stop it spinning and go back to it, as far as I can tell. There is a pause button.I think it's Great for what I need, and the price is great, too.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good sound but radio is weak and multifunction buttons don't work half the time
This boombox has a good sound, but the radio is subpar. We have several powerful radio stations within 50 miles of us and the radio tuner can't lock onto any of them properly even with the antenna fully extended and moved around to get the best signal. It's so poor, the radio is worthless. They decided to put several functions per button and they don't work as you want half the time. Even the on/off button is temperamental and doesn't work every time you press it. I sent it back and would not recommend it to anyone for these reasons.

Just love my Boombox. I am old and needed something I could set beside me and listen to radio and play cd's. It is small compact fits perfect on bookshelf beside my chair. It has nice handle that flips up to pick up and move when necessary. What I really appreciate is all operations are on front with a LIGHTED dial to see what you need. You can select radio, cd, Bluetooth, USB and aux, all with a push of button. You can forward or backup the cd when wanted. Some of the Boomboxes I looked at switches on back. You had to reach around in back to flip a little switch just hear cd or listen to radio. I would have to pick it up and turn it around to use. Like I said before EVERYTHING ON FRONT TO TURN OFF AND ON AND ALL SELECTIONS. When you are old that really matters. It stays on station when moving it in radio mode. My other radio would have lots of static every time I had to move it and then have to set it in right direction for reception again. I was trying to play cd it gives me a NO message on screen. I found out it was cracked after inspecting it. The volume is great, and the sound is nice and clear. It came with 2 operation books telling you how to use very easy to understand. I ordered 4 batteries. I am using batteries in it. Cord is included. Some of the Boomboxes used 6 batteries. I felt like that would make it heavier. I can pick it up and set on my walker no problem.Very happy with what I received feel like it will last a long time. Probably longer than me.

I got this CD player for MP3 books-on-tape, and it works great. The controls are simple and very straight forward with easy prompts for repeat play with CDs. The radio works well too. A nice, basic unit that works well. The only complaint I have found is that there is no display prompt to see what track I am currently on.

I like the sound and bought it for its portability. Can take it to camp and use with batteries. Good sound for the size of the speakers. Directions are clear and buttons easier to see than others I have bought in the past. Still new, other cd players lasted less than 6 months. Hopefully this one will last longer

I bought this for my son to listen to CDs to and it works well. Relatively easy to use. Decent volume on it.

Wrong powerpoint plug
I bought this CD Player for my daughters birthday. She was so excited to set it up. When we removed it from the box we were disappointed to find it had an American plug and not suitable for Australia. I'll have to sort out a plug adaptor.
cd/usb and streaming functions all work well
Price for this unit was very good, sound quality reasonable and the various playback modes work well. i have a lot of music on usb sticks and this was the main reason for purchasing. The downside to me is the fm tuner which is weak and i can only pick up local stations which are few and far between. setting up the pre sets was difficult but once i disregarded the instructions i got them. if you live in a metropolitan area with lots of stations you probably would not encounter the problem i have with fm reception. Overall for the price i am quite happy with this unit which i keep in my patio box and it comes out when the sun shines
Sounds really good and bluetooth is a bonus
I really like this little boom box...It does as advertised with the bluetooth..The only con would be that I would like the volume to go higher, but otherwise..really good boom box
