Really nice axe, seems like quality build. The edge is RAZOR sharp, comes with a nice little rubber sleeve to keep covered when not in use. Seems like I could shave with it! Well balanced and comfortable in my hand, terrific value for $12. Highly recommend

I was trying to decide between this hatchet or the more expensive Friskars X7 when I bought this one. I'll say I was impressed when I received it. Mine showed up very sharp and ready to go to work. The sheath is well made, slightly oversized, with belt loops and a carry handle, perfect weight should I need to pack it around in a backpack. What would have made the sheath ideal is if the inside was lined with plastic so the sharp hatchet bit doesn't cut it after repeated removal / insertion. If you take your time and insert the hatchet into the sheath with care, I think it'll hold up a long time. The hatchet bit was perfectly sharpened. For the money, I give it 5 stars. Hope this review helps someone.

Good started hatchet or for someone whose not serious or uses it a couple times a year. Product as described. Rubber handle as expected. Product matches picture. The blade was a little dull but sharpens easily. Like the bright pink color but the black is hard to see. Wouldnt consider this hi-vis. Case works on belt or similar. Fine for weekend camper or backyard chopper but wouldnt want to use on serious camp trip or for splitting a lot of wood.

Some folks complain that this edge is not sharp enough, use a knife sharpener if you must. I ALWAYS sharpen my hatchets. Works for me for cutting down my kindling. Nice, cheap --- good quality, strong.

Axe extremely light and well balanced! Super sharp edge right out of the box. Gotta say i Disliked the generic bubble wrap packaging and the useless sliced up rubber band thing that’s supposed to be the edge guard, but overall the axe is Excellent for the $15 price tag!! I do think they should include the cheap nylon sheath that their others come with but for $15 certainly not a deal breaker. I like the leather sheaths much better anyways. Can’t go wrong for the money. I’d buy it again for sure. Thanks

Wasn't sharp, but not a big deal, I've sharpened many a axe over the years! So cutting wood was a hard go but once an edge was put on the blade, it was fine! Great price, well made tool, what more could you ask for!

This is a great ask for Bushcraft or survival, it's very strong and compact. Love it but there's one issue, it is very hard to sharpen. I bought an ax file brand new online, and I used it on this ax for hours, it did not get significantly sharper. Very hard to sharpen, but very useful.
