This is a good mic for zoom and teams.Nice that all controls are available without software. Good headphone volume and low latency. Works with or without Elgato software.Very sensitive. Like the touch to mute on top of mic.

I just started a new YouTube channel and needed a budget friendly microphone. I heard a lot of veteran YouTubers use Elgato so I gave it a try. It didn’t disappoint. The quality of sound is amazing and it is very easy to use. 100% recommend it.

It was really annoying setting up the mic, as I set the FX mic as the default mic, but discord would use the default Elgato mic. Besides that, it really helps boost my voice up and get rid of some unwanted background sounds. I was really debating on this or the dynamic mic. Not only is my AC loud, but I have dogs and family who like to be loud. Condenser mics aren't the best for that situation, but I don't want a mic in my face, so I'm REALLY happy they have the built-in FX tab in the app. People noticed my mic sounded much better and not a lot of background noises gets picked up now!

Beginning or budget streamers and content creators should take a look at this microphone. For a lot of people, it works as is right out of the box with no or very little adjustments to your sound. The Wavelink software that is free for it, is great if you want to separate and mix all of your sounds to different channels.Some complain that it's not as fancy as some but I do like the sleeker look of this microphone. It would be nice if it had less of a plastic feel to it but I appreciate that it's lightweight because of it and will be easier to travel with. It does only offer one pickup pattern which is the cartiod pattern compared to some of its competitors. Like with any of the other mics that have physical knobs to switch between the gain, monitoring volume button on the front it is a bit noisy. But when it comes to the mute option on top of the Wave 3, it is seamless and can't be beat!Bottom line, there are other mics that may look fancier and may have more pickup patterns. But if you don't have the budget for an XLR microphone or GoXLR mixer, and want something that sounds great, this is the way to go and what I am using myself!

There's simply no better mic for this price point that is also a USB mic. Certainly do your own research on what suits your needs. That being said, this mic is top tier. It's the best purchase you can make for a quality microphone before entering SHURE (golden standard for streaming/audio recording) territory which is entirely different level of audio equipment (no longer simply a USB mic).

I bought this microphone because my HyperX Quadcast S was starting to act sketchy on my work laptop. Turned out that was actually an issue with my USB-C hub. Anyway, here's the thing: Yes, this microphone sounds pretty good. The headphone jack works REALLY well. I plugged my 250 ohm Beyerdynamic DT880s into it and it powered them loudly and clearly. The dial on the front acts as a headphone volume dial by default - this is awesome! Sound quality is great too. Similar to my Quadcast S honestly lol. Maybe a tiny bit bassier? Whatever.So I started out the next day looking forward to using it with my work computer, running MacOS Big Sur. The mic detected great, everyone heard it just fine. I tap the mute button on top.... and webex picks it up and mutes the output.... wait what?I clicked the unmute button in webex and IT UNMUTED MY MICROPHONE.That's right. ElGato didn't use a HARDWARE MUTE BUTTON here. If you mute your microphone, everything on your computer knows. If you tap the mute button on top of the mic and the light is red, get this: The software can un-mute it at will.That sounds fantastic if you have a meeting host that decides to unmute you for some reason.Fantastic.I'm guessing they did that for better integration with their other products. Unfortunately, there's no way to change the behavior. I really don't like that, and because of that, I'll probably be returning this microphone.To add icing to the cake, the webex muting/unmuting is a little bit unpredictable. Sometimes webex follows the mute button, sometimes it doesn't. Teams worked about as well lol.Ok outside of that. It's a nice mic. The packaging is lovely. It comes with a sweet mic arm attachment adapter. The lights are very clear and again, the sound quality is fantastic. The volume dial is the best I've used. It's a decent amount smaller than my Quadcast S, which is already smaller than a Blue Yeti.If it weren't for that dodgy mute button behavior I'd really love this mic. Hopefully they fix that in a software update someday and give us a choice on how the mute button behaves.

Works amazingly, and is SUPER easy to use and figure out. The audio quality is freaking amazing and sounds like I have a super expensive, professional microphone, and it looks trendy. It feels high-quality, and is just amazing for any of your microphone needs. I love it. 10/10, absolutely worth it.

Great microphone for audio work, with clear output and built in USB for better compatibility
This microphone is really easy to use and the sound quality stands head and shoulders above others I've tried, and it's easy to filter background sounds out using free software. The built-in mute switch and volume knob really help and the larger kit version was really handy to set up on a desk, with a large opening clamp. The black or white options also help fit the aesthetic quite well, but they're the same underneath with some discounts to be found on Bolo when I've looked.

Lo compré reacondicionado y me ahorré el 50% casi, el producto tiene una calidad excelente y aunque ha tenido uso, funciona correctamente, lo seguiremos probando pero es muy buen micro, la marca el gato para este tipo de periféricos merece realmente la pena

Da tempo cercavo un microfono da poter usare per più scopi (lavoro online, corsi, vudeo call, ma anche registrazioni di voce).Questo microfono risponde perfettamente a tutte le mie esigenze, registra molto bene la voce togliendo tutti i suoni di sottofondo che possono esserci in casa o in ufficio.È solido, fatto bene, ha il tasto muto e un piccolo software per gestire alcune impostazioni.Avevo qualche dubbio sull'acquisto, ma sono felicissima di averlo preso!
