5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent broom, excellent, self-standing dustpan!
This broom and dust pan is so good that I bought 2, one for upstairs, and one for downstairs. The broom bristles are swift and flexible allowing reach in difficult places. The dustpan has a key factor - it stands upright on its own, whether it is in an open postion or whether the broom is tucked inside of it for storing. This allows it to have a very convenient, small storage footprint. This only minus is that the outer bristles get frayed from inserting the broom into the dustpan for storage, causing them to skewer instead of remain straight down. They can trimmed, but the same thing will happen again with the next layer of bristles. That said, it is still a great broom set. It sweeps well, reaches will and stores well!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, does exactly what is needed.
Very pleased with this broom / dustpan combo. Sits up nicely without falling down, well designed and made, easy to use. Exactly right for the use we need it for.
4.0 out of 5 stars Durable
Broom is great and surprisingly easier to move piles of rubbish than our current broom and cost less. Will see if the plastic materials the broom is made of will hold up to our needs
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well
Assembled in 4 parts quickly. Scrubs the rugs, a quick clean when not want to vacuum. Is not too wide but also not too small. Picks up a lot of dust, strings, hair...
5.0 out of 5 stars Useful
This broom & dustpan combo came securely packaged. One has to screw pieces of the handle together. This is great because one can also disassemble & store it for transport. I liked it so well I decided to purchase 3.It is lightweight but durable. The plastic despite heavy use has not cracked, nor has the portions of the handle one screws together to assemble it unscrewed once screwed together. It has little plastic teeth in the dust pan that can be used to remove objects from the brush part of the broom. The handle is also tall which is helpful. I find many brooms too short. It has a soft firm brush which gets up most particles. I did prefer an older broom I had with finer softer particles for cleaning up fine dust but this one is more durable and good enough. The brush on this one has not bent or lost its shape.I think it is a good value for the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Stiff and sturdy
Purchased this 12” wide broom to help pull leaves from around furniture on porch. On a whim so I wouldn’t have to get the vacuum for the door carpet, I tried this broom. Wow! It really grabs hold! I’m pretty sure it pulled more dirt and dog hair from that carpet than our vacuums did when they were new! It was a challenge to sweep carpet, but did great! I won’t use it that way often since the sectional handle or plastic (?) brush base we’re not designed for that pressure. But it works extremely well on concrete. Too tough for washing scratchable surfaces but this is a very nice broom!
3.0 out of 5 stars does not telescope, screws together LOL
Seems sturdy enough when the 3 handle pieces are SCREWED TOGETHER, but I'm not going to keep unscrewing the handle parts to make shorter for storage, and lose parts (handle parts cannot slide into each other because if screwing together hardware.)The telescopic snap adjustment shown in pics? Oh it's there-- but it is just glued onto the ouside of the top screw-together pole. Hysterical! Has no function.Am guessing from older reviews the old telescoptic system didn't work so they added screw parts to sections-- the illustrations above show that you screw them together. There is no way to collapse screwed together parts. Why they still say telescopic and have the glued on adjuster that serves no function is beyond me.Also, I got a box with no directions that had been opened and obviously retaped, so not new. Someone else kept the instructions that didn't make these parts telescope when they sent it back, or it never came with directions because there is no way to illustrate how to make this work as advertised.I wanted a stiff broom to push snow away from the door from inside the house (because you can't shovel up against a door, or get to shovel without stepping on snow and packing it down) so this will be fine for that, but it won't easily fold down for off season storage (unless I want to unscrew and tape the sections together in a bundle so they don't get lost, which I don't want to do) so I could have just bought a wooden broom and handle that would recycle/biodegrade someday.
5.0 out of 5 stars does it's job
Decent. Inexpensively made (metal handle, the rest, plastic), so need's to be treated gently to last. The yellow plastic rake does a decent job removing dust and hair from the broom. Folds up nicely to store. Putting it together was no problem.
Disappointed
While this broom is very sturdy it is too stiff to remove much as the "bristles" don't bend enough to carry the dirt away. I do like the handle and attached it to my old broomhead, as it was the old handle that had broken.
It's smaller than I expected.
It's smaller than I expected and does not sweep anything up well at all, it actually didn't last long at all it's very cheap quality and not at all worth $36. The broom head kept falling off every other minute while sweeping which is annoying lol also the bristles were awful, it took forever to sweep one small area. I would not buy this broom again because it's really cheap quality and unnecessarily priced too high.
Balai porte pousiere
Reçu en bonne en bonne état et très sactifait
Would not recommend
The broom and dustpan was delivered in an undamaged carton. However when the dustpan was removed the lip was warped and you could not sweep debris into the pan. The plastic is cheap, flimsy and overall poor quality.
Easy to store
Impressed by reviews so bought this pricey brush set. It works well & is easy to store, but still a bit expensive.
