Bought this masking tape dispenser three years ago. We use the tape to label containers so It gets used about every day,and works great . it is weighted so you can get a piece of tape with one hand easily. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I wish I had found this sooner. I use small pieces of painters tape all the time for quickie labels or as a small temporary fastener, and this gives me nice neat pieces to whatever length I want. I'm not necessarily OCD about such things, but a nice clean tear instead of a ragged rip just appeals to me. The dispenser is a little larger than a normal cellophane tape dispenser, as you might imagine, but not overly so. Its a little heavy and that keeps it from moving around when tearing off tape. All in all, good product, well made, and I didn't know what I was missing until I got it. Surprisingly useful.

I love the sturdiness of this dispenser. It is heavy which I truly appreciate however large rolls of one inch tape do not fit inside the dispenser. I tried a large roll of 3/4 inch tape and it does fit perfectly. The dispenser is "supposed to fit a large roll of one inch tape however when the tape is inserted with the 3 inch core inside it ~ it is not possible to slide it down into the dispenser. The tape with the core inserted sits above the grooves of the dispenser.(Possibly when more of the roll of tape is used it will fit lower into the dispenser.

If you are a kitchen nerd like me who watched "The Bear' on Hulu and became obsessed with labeling everything with Lichamp's 1-inch green painter's tape, then you also need to buy this tape dispenser. Is it the same one they use on the show? I have no idea, but I tell my friends it is, and they believe me.Kitchen nerd stuff aside, this Lichamp Desktop Tape Dispenser is actually really great. Most importantly, it is heavier than you think which means it is not going to slide across the counter or desk when you grab a piece of tape. Second, the three-inch spool perfectly fits a roll of painter's tape. But the coolest part about the three-inch spool is it locks onto a smaller one-inch spool that can be used for traditional Scotch tape rolls, thus making this dispenser a multitasker.My only complaint about this tape dispenser is the pen holder hole is too small for a Sharpie pen. I had to add on my own pen holder but the smooth vertical surface of the base made the attachment and function of the add-on simple and practical.

One thing you can do if you want to use for your regular scotch tape is to carefully knock out the small center wheel. Then you can use for both larger and smaller rolls interchangeably.

I’ve used these dispenser for years at various jobs, but they were usually broken and worthless. I finally have one of my own, and it’s a purchase long overdue! How great it is to cleanly tear off just what you need… after years of picking and tearing masking tape off the bare roll and starting again with each piece! Put this dispenser on a counter or workbench and it stays put while you pull and cut just the right amount each time. Absurdly easy, and something I should have done for myself years ago! Why should a simple thing like a tape dispenser only be a work thing!? I’m pretty sure there’s another one of these to be purchased!

This is a great heat tape dispenser. If you sublimate and need that tape having a heavy tape dispenser that will allow you to cut off a piece of tape with one hand is great. It doesn't tip over and it has a handy hole for a pen or some other round pen-like object you may need handy. It's sure to last for a long time if not forever, it's that sturdy. I would recommend this product.
