5.0 out of 5 stars Best Budget Controller I've Ever Purchased
In my 5+ years of playing games on my PC, I have never had an affordable controller ($25-$60) with as much functionality and features as this controller. This controller has a lot more functionality than most other controllers out there, even those at a higher price range. It has an LED indicator for connectivity and battery life, back lights for the face buttons and right analog stick, options for mapping buttons to turbo, completely customizable M buttons which can be mapped to any of the shoulder or face buttons, and it even has vibration support which is adjustable. On top of all of these pros, it is light and feels great in my hands. If you are comfortable with Xbox 360 controllers, then you will love this controller. I haven't used a wireless controller since I got a Steam controller, and this controller has even more functionality than that. Only downside is that the USB receiver is as large as a thumb drive, so I wish the receiver were smaller. You can, however, use a long enough USB Type-C cord to connect the controller to whatever compatible console you are playing on. I would highly recommend this controller to anyone that is looking for a nice, budget wireless controller.
4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic value, solid little controller.
A very solid controller. I have a few minor gripes to bring up with it. First, the triggers. The left trigger gives less resistance than the right trigger which, in fairness could be a slight defect with mine in particular. The button presses seperately feel fine but using them together feels strange to my hands. Next, the battery life. It dies unfortunately quickly compared to some of the other controllers I own. I'm sure turning the glow off would extend the battery life by a good amount but I really like the look of the controller when it's all lit up. Lastly, the rear buttons. Setting them up exactly how you want them is simple and it lets you do a surprising amount of things with them (first controller I've owned that lets you set up macros), however, the button placement leaves room for improvement. The two that are basically on the grips are wonderfully placed if not a bit on the small side, but the two closer to the center of the controller are incovenient to use if both thumbs are using the sticks. For many people the appeal of the rear buttons is to be able to press the face buttons while also having full movement and camera control, so having to almost take my thumb off the stick to be able to press them kind of defeats the point. They can still be useful as a macro button, but if they were positioned on the grips below the other buttons they'd be perfect. Everything else is as you would expect for a decent quality controller. The plastic feels sort of middling quality-wise, not the best I've ever held but far from the worst. Face buttons have a nice press to them, d-pad isn't too squishy, turbo button is fun to have. Overall it's a very good controller at a price that makes sense, I would recommend it for anyone looking to add some variety to their controller collection or even if you just need another controller for group sessions.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value
It’s a good device. The Buttons light up so you can use it in the dark. It’s better than all of these replacement controllers for the PS3 and for the price has them beat. Sony controller, I’ve seen them for as much as $80.
1.0 out of 5 stars If I could give it 0 stars I would (MUST READ)
If it were possible to give this product 0 stars I would.I bought this controller under the assumption that a product under "Bolo's Choice" would work as advertised. After only 100 plus hours I noticed the analog stick that is used in mostly every game to control movement was starting to drift. In the next 20 hours the controller became completely unusable. The controller was never abused or mistreated (thrown, dropped, water damage, ect). After contacting Bolo support I was directed to the manufacturer "Forty4" and was told to get back to Bolo if there were any problems as my product was already passed the amount of days for a simple Bolo return. From here Forty4, a company based in China, I asked for a refund as this product was cheaply made and would surely break again given a replacement. I reluctantly accepted a replacement and waited weeks for it via the mail(as anything that has to go through customs does). After the weeks went by I was shocked when I opened the mailbox and the company had only sent me a replacement dongle! A complete joke and utter waste of my time only to be topped by recontacting Bolo and they too wasting more of my time. A total which came out to around 3 hours! The moral of the story here is never trust "Bolo's choice" I will be doing my shopping like a real Human from now on is stores and in person. None of this is worth it and Bolo has completely failed me in every way. Please do not buy this product.
