5.0 out of 5 stars High quality photos
This is the best photo paper I’ve ever used. The colors on the photos are so bold and vibrant. The price was good. I will definitely order this again, it’s the only photo paper for me. The thickness of the paper is perfect.
5.0 out of 5 stars Impressively Excellent Quality
This quality of this paper is tremendously good. The texture and the slight sheen it has is very eye-catching. The color reproduction is impressive and beautiful. Those who see the photos I print often ask me about the paper. Unfortunately they don't send the paper to Colombia again, I don't know why. If I could buy it, I will.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality
My go to for making bookmarks and high quality prints.
4.0 out of 5 stars it's okay
I did not expect it to be still in the thin type of paper thinking that I picked the highest gsm among other option they have. I will still use it
5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money! Prints lovely and vibrant!
The media could not be loaded. I really love this paper, i thought it would bw thicker ( thickness of hp glossy paper) but the water resistance makes up for it, the quality of printing Is amazing, beautiful. I didn't expect it to be this good. I have dipped it in water and rubbed it with my finger, no sealer, and it hast faded or messed up! I'll gladly use this material for my customers, they would love it! The Luster is nice as well. The ink I'm using is dye ink from epson. Printer Epson Et 15000. The paper doesn't jam and Is worth the purchase!
3.0 out of 5 stars Colors came out wrong
The luster texture is a little strong for my taste, and the colors came out incorrectly. The paper doesn't pick up yellow hues well, making my prints come out looking unusually cool. Which is odd, considering I've used other paper from this brand, different size same luster finish, with no problem. Maybe this paper came from a bad batch.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality
I was a bit weary but this is fantastic paper. Printed off all our Christmas photos
2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected
I purchased this because it was less expensive than the Canon paper I usually use. I am not happy with the results. It has the look and feel of fine grit sandpaper on the print side. It looks like there is glitter pasted on the paper. The image printed well on the paper but looks awful. Under the light all you see is glitter. It’s not what I was looking for in a “luster” paper. I really wanted to like this product as the price is right but I can’t get past the glitter look. I’ll be going back to Canon.
A beautiful product
The lustre surface of this paper is beautiful. I use an Epson printer and the quality of the prints it produces on this paper is wonderful. The only reason I gave it four stars for value for money is that I wish it was a bit cheaper ... works out at 0.58 per page.Nevertheless, if you want your photos to pop with that 'something extra' then I highly recommend you try this paper. I particularly like the 72 lb version because it makes quite nice cards.
Excellent product, and provider.
Great premium quality paper.
Okay, but not the best for selling prints
This paper isn't awful by any means, but it's not the best either, especially if you want to sell prints. For context, I print on a Canon Pixma Pro 100. I wanted to see how well it compared to the Canon Luster paper, and sadly Canon's is worth the extra money. You can see in my photos the comparisons, but the main differences are the texture, the colour vibrancy, and the ease of scuffing the print. The weight of the Koala paper is nice though. Also, I have seen more reviews that mention the condition of the box of paper when it arrives, and mine was no exception. It looked like my box had been opened or attempted to be opened. However, the paper inside wasn't bent or crumpled as a result, so as long as the product inside isn't damaged then I'm ok with it.TLDR; the paper is fine if you're not using it for professional use cases. If you're planning on selling prints like I am, I'm too worried that a customer would scuff it way too easily and the colours of the Canon paper is just better in my opinion (which is why it costs more I guess haha). Hope this helps anyone looking to use it for prints! And for anyone that has trouble with knowing which side it is to print on, it's the sticky one! For me it was the side that is facing the front of the plastic sleeve. :)
My favourite paper for art prints
I'm an artist that sells prints I make of my artwork through my shop and at conventions, etc. - I often struggle with printing some of my work, not liking a full smooth gloss, and disliking the de-saturation of matte papers. The weight and Luster finish this Koala paper provides is *perfect* for my work, and the little bit of texture adds some character to it that a lot of other prints seem to lack. The only thing I really wish for is a larger size of it to be available in Canada - unfortunately, I can't get it in 11"x17" sheets (for my larger prints), and I've had to go to another paper provider for it (who does a good enough job, but the weight is lighter than the Koala brand, and not as nice feeling texture-wise).Over all, I LOVE this paper, and would recommend it to anyone.
Amazing!!
I’ve been buying this paper for years and it’s incredible! It has never once caused an issues and the colours come out so nicely. I have photos I printed using this paper over 3 years ago and they still look like I just printed them.
