Simple clock with a battery backup, just what I needed. You can set 2 different alarms and have one or both active. Easy to read display and I like the red for night use. Alarm starts as a slow chirp and gets more frequent as it goes until silenced. When unplugged the display turns off but the battery keeps the time accurate and the alarm still works. When you plug it back in it will still be set properly. Ideal for if the power goes out, you'll still wake up on time!

To set alarm:Put switch to position 1 or 2 and toggle alarm switch to on position. Hold alarm button down as you tap hour and minute buttons until alarm time is set.Alarm gradually gets louder it doesn't instantly go max level.To set time:Hold time button and tap hour and minute button until time is accurate.Large snooze button.Overall size of the alarm is not much bigger in length and width as a smart phone but probably 3 or 4 smart phones in depth.Wired with double AA battery back up.

I needed a new alarm clock after my old one's buttons started not working as good as they used to, maybe it had something to do with this power surge that happened last summer I don't know. So I ordered this digital clock on Bolo, been using it for over a month now, and so far it's pretty good. The instructions on how to use it are simple, but I still don't like how you can only set the time on the clock by going forward only while my old one allowed me to to set it both back and forth. The pictures of the clock on the item's profile show that it doesn't have a power cord when in actuality it does, but it fits in the sockets alright. The description on the profile says that the power back up for the clock says it uses two AA batteries when it actually uses AAAs. The LED lights are bright in the dark but not too bright that it lights up the entire room, but it is slightly blinding when I wake up facing the clock. The alarm sound starts off low with one beep then increases the volume and number of beeps as it goes on, which isn't a bad thing and it doesn't startle me awake like my last clocks were, but I'm usually awake before the alarm goes off so it doesn't happen very often. Plus the clock itself is pretty small and doesn't take up very much space. So yeah this is a pretty good alarm clock, though it does have some features that I don't like.

I purchased this alarm clock as a replacement for an old one that was just worn out. My wife is a nurse and loved the previous one, but all the lettering had faded, and the buttons weren't working properly. This clock was a newer version with dual alarms which worked out perfect with her schedule. Easy to set-up, the red dial doesn't light up the room, plus you can set two separate alarms. Great deal for the price.

so what's the most important element of an alarm clock? The clock or the alarm. The clock poriton works wonderfully... the alarm...not so good. Worthless in my household...simply to weak for anyone in my house to hear...but I'll keep it simply because it's a really nice clock in a nice box with easy to set functions and bright lights that are easy to read. Shame the alarm portion is so poor.

I like that the alarm on this clock is gradual and doesn't startle me awake. It beeps once, followed by two beeps, three, and so forth. The light display is brighter than some other clocks I have, but I don't mind it much. The alarm and time are easy to set, and overall I would say this clock is very good.

I like the backup function of the alarm clock. I've test it. It does go off if unplugged and keep the time if you put 2 AAA batteries in it, not AA like the listing says. It will go off if unplugged, just nothing on the screen.It's a little bigger than a smartphone. I'm surprised by how small it is but I wanted a basic back up alarm clock with 2 alarms for cheap, and this is one of the better options for that since it has 2 alarms. It's a little hard to read because of it's smaller size, as in the screen is small, but if you put it on your nightstand you should be able to read it still since it's very bright. You can't modify the brightness though, which is annoying. It's big enough to see it, I usually wear glasses, but smaller than other alarm clocks.It's alarm does increase in volume over a short interval, so that does work as well. It starts with a few beeps further apart, then more beeps closer together until it's just constant beeps almost coming together enough to make a single note of sound. It's not as annoying as other alarm clocks I got so I appreciate that. It does get loud enough to wake me up, although heavy sleepers that normally sleep through alarms will probably sleep through this since it isn't the loudest out there. I think it's loud enough and consistent enough to wake most people up.To move onto the final thing, it's not the best built. It is one solid piece and it doesn't feel like it will fall apart unless you drop it hard on a non-carpeted floor. It will stay together, dropped it once already and it was fine. It feels solid enough if a little light and a little cheap feeling. It's 100% worth getting this if it's on sale for $10-12 since it's a good enough alarm clock that is small so it will easily fit on your nightstand and will make the alarm goes off if it has batteries in it unlike other alarm clocks so power outages like the one from Home Alarm won't keep it from not going off. It works as a basic alarm clock.

Lo compré porque es como los aparatos "de antes"... Sencillos y que no usan cables USB. Es un reloj sencillo que nomás da la hora y tiene dos alarmas. Funciona con un cable normal con una clavija normal que se enchufa con toma corriente común. También es posible ponerle una pila por si se va la luz no pierda la hora pero no es obligatorio ponerla. Sencillez. De los pocos que existen ahora.
