I was looking for basic but sturdy brackets to hold shelves in the play room. I used 2 brackets for each 3' pine shelf and mounted into wall studs. My shelves began sagging within a couple of days after holding toys and board games. These would not be adequate for holding anything heavy. These brackets served their purpose but they are certainly not "heavy duty." I wish I had purchased something else.
