I wanted to get a more substantial water bottle after I was since of the cheap straw training ones. This has been fantastic! It's durable, dishwasher safe and has a super cute print. It does sometimes leak when water is left in the straw part but it's not a deal breaker. Would totally get another one (and probably will!)

I had this for a day and it does not leak. The straw did not fall out. The bite is still brand new looking.I have read a couple of reviews and I can't help notice that most of these complaints are based on humans not paying attention.If you give this to your kid, instruct them to NOT chew or bite down on the Bite Straw so hard. It is not a chew toy. It requires a little squeeze with the teeth to open up the slit and suction. There is no need to push or pull on the straw. There is so much pressure and abuse anything can take. When taking care, it works as intended.The straw comes in two parts. The part you bite and the straw that is put into it. Push the bite into the lid and wiggle it where it fits into some notches to keep it steady. Make sure it is flush with the lid portion by pushing on the sections on the inside. Then shove in the straw with some force as far as it can go. That is all.The straw and bite are not screwed on. They are attached and held with pressure against itself on the lid. The only part that screws on, is the lid.Do not put in dishwasher. This is very easy to clean. Get yourself a bottle brush and a straw brush to clean this. The bite will probably give you some trouble cleaning.------------The bottle itself is lightweight and hard with very little give. There are some fun colors and designs to choose from. The bite works just fine, just requires a little pressure to open the slit. The straw is very thick and firm with slight give in flexibility. The lid is also hard with a slight rubbery feel to it. I did not close the straw as intended since I don't take it out of the house but I feel this maybe be the first failure point for the bite aside from biting the bite. When the straw is folded closed, the bite is still exposed, which can be an annoyance to people wanting to put their mouth on something clean. Otherwise it works.

I wanted a smaller bottle than my other Camelbaks, because I like to put them in my purses. I like the clear bottle, also. Colors have never moved me in this product line. In the ad for the bottle, it seems to be grayish, but it's nice and clear. No leaks. These are marketed for children, mainly, but I'll get more this size. Also, if children are using these, I like the fact that they can't pull the top of the straw off, like on the adult models. Much safer re: choking hazard.

This bottle is perfect for weaning my kids off of bottles! They’ve been reluctant to give them up but this type of straw made the transition so much easier. It holds about as much milk as their bottles did and it isn’t too hard to open, even for a child. The locking feature works well, which is good so I don’t have milk all over the diaper bag. Very durable and a great value for the price!
