This does have a thicker consistency than many meal replacement shakes, so we like to chill it very cold, because then it tastes like a malt or a shake, rich and creamy but low carb. Also sometimes we blend it with crushed ice, and add a pinch of cinnamon or sweet almond. We don't like it at room temperature, but when it's properly chilled it's a great, fast way to get lots of nutrition and protein that won't take us out of keto. And unlike the watery meal replacement drinks, this is filling and satisfying.

I need meal replacement drinks to help meet nutrient needs, but I am lactose intolerant and on Dr rx low fiber diet, and as far as I can choose, I prefer vegan products. This product is a godsend.But it was very difficult to drink these straight. The texture was disgusting and the flavour was not quite right. Then I learned from some redditors that watering it down, 1:3 made it more palatable. I was dubious but I tried it and it works 100%. Just like drinking chocolate milk, texture and flavour.Once watered down, the flavour is very delicate: a whisper of chocolate yet not so tasty as to make your brain want more than one portion. Satisfying without any cravings.

I use to drink Owen 32g protein vegan vanilla shakes but one batch was bad and I just couldn’t go back.These aren’t as flavorful; if anything, they taste more nutty than vanilla. People mention issues with texture but I think they’re thick (not too thick!) and creamy, which I like. I like the high protein content and the price is more reasonable than other brands. I’m going to stick with these for a while.

My husband and I have been having one of these a day for over a year now. I'm a vegetarian, and he rarely eats meat, so we were on the hunt for a surefire source of protein. We had tasted soylent before and liked it, but we stopped getting it due to the sugar content. When we stumbled upon this, we were thrilled for a low-sugar, high protein option.A lot of comments says the taste isn't as good and the thickness is weird... maybe I would have agreed when we first started taking it, but I adore it now. I don't want an overloaded sugary flavor. And the thickness is manageable if you shake it enough before drinking. It thickens when it sits.I think the cost is a fair concern and I would prefer it be a little more manageable. But we've been dealing with. If it goes up, we may re-evaluate.

I usually drink a different protein shake but this was cheaper so I decided to try it. Never again. It’s to thick and tastes so different from the other shakes I purchase. Leaves a non pleasant taste in my mouth. I will not be buying this product again. Read reviews before buying.

I wanted an easy beverage where I could drink the moment I woke up before my workout. The taste is actually pretty good, however the texture sometimes threw me off because it's just SO thick. No matter how cold you drink it, it's so thick. But regardless I pushed through, enjoying the flavor and thinking all those grams of protein were going to get me ripped from also working out. Well, let me tell you a few hours after the drink I was fighting for my life in a way I never thought. I'll spare you the gut wrenching details, but holy moly I saw my life flash before my eyes as I sat on the toilet regretting every bad life decision I ever made. It was bad. Not just a one and done thing either, it was a multiple fight kind of day. Ever since that day I've been too chicken to try a second one, and so for now the drinks sit on my pantry. Best of luck to whoever decides to drink these.

I’ve tried several kinds of low sugar, high protein shakes like Glucerna and Muscle Milk, but these are the best in my opinion. The consistency is just right, they are high protein, low sugar, and easy on the stomach even if you’re lactose intolerant. The only minus is the price, but for me they’re worth it. I’d love to see some more flavors.
