I’ve played pro-v1x but took some time off and have been struggling with my swing and losing balls like crazy. I couldn’t keep doing the same thing at the going rate for the pro-v1x.Read all the reviews and decided to give these a try. I was totally surprised by how well they performed. The feel is definitely not in the pro-v1x class, but its playability is great and can still get approach shots to stop.As expected, less spin with some wedge shots around the green…but just had to make the adjustment and pick targets a little shorter and plan for a little more roll out. Not extreme, but it’s worth every bit of $ saved.

I’m a good golfer and played ProV1, ProV1x, and many other top end balls over the years. I bought into the idea that spending $60+ on a dozen balls was key to my game.Every time I’d lose one of those, I compared it to taking a $5 bill out of my pocket and tossing it into the woods, water, or rough. The more balls I lost, the more I began to question if I really needed to spend so much $$ on balls. Ironically, I found an old crappy ball (Wilson Chaos, dirty and scuffed up) in the woods and played the round of myLife with it. A legit 68 on a tough course.That’s when I decided to start buying cheaper balls. I found these and bought them, a dozen for like $20. Honest to god, my driver topped out at 265-270 yards with ProV1s. With these TM distance balls, I can miss hit it that far. And when I make solid contact, my drives are 290+.I’m shocked. But that’s just off the tee. Approach shots spin and stop, the ball doesn’t feel like a rock, and I’m a full convert to buying these from now on. Never again will you catch me wasting money on “top end” balls. Like I said, I’m no hack and pride myself on being a very above average player. That said, if you’re a scratch to a 20 handicap, stop wasting your money and buy a dozen of these. Heck, buy 3 dozen and enjoy several seasons of golfing without worrying about losing them.
