I liked the selection of tools and color spectrum was great. I did feel a little disappointed because the clay packets were smaller that I had hoped. The clay was nice quality and didnt dry out while I was using it.

(Read this whole thing if you want to know what to expect!)It’s excellent! It is good for sculptures that take days to work on, hard as rock when it is fully baked.It also is in a good amount: 50 colors, each packet the size of a stack of about two trident gum packs!Only warnings are that you should be careful to not bake longer than required amount (the sculptures will be burnt), to not leave unwrapped colors touching each other for extensive periods (the colors will stain), and that colors will “mix” overtime in sculptures that are small in size and are multicolored.

I am an adult a beginner at polymer clay and these were super easy to use while still being able to make really cute and crisp looking pieces. One issue however is that some of the colors were so hard and dry that even after kneading it for wayyyy too long, it still wasn’t workable. good thing thought that there are so many colors, so i could still manage with a couple colors being unusable. The ones that were workable are very soft, so very beginner friendly. That also means however that it gets lots of fingerprints and dents in it. Most were soft or could become soft after kneading it for a bit, but overall, the texture and softness of each color was a bit different/inconsistent. Also i baked according to the instructions and i had some cracking/splitting in my clay. Not everything, just a couple unfortunate pieces. I don’t think i baked it too long considering i baked it standard time and temp w the instructions but maybe it was the quality of the clay. As far as the included tools, they are really bad. i only used one of them(round tip) and it was because i used a nail file to shave down the plastic seam that runs down the middle of it. the knife bits are so thick that they’ll deform you clay before cutting it so better off just using your own tools, toothpicks, things you can find around the house. So if the included tools are a deciding factor for you, they’re not good for detail work. Last thing, these are oven bake so they won’t dry out like air dry clay. you have to bake it to finish it. However, i still wouldn’t leave it out in the open, while they’re workable still, i feel like it still gets a little bit harder and you have to knead it a bit to get it back to its previous softness. but just wrapping them loosely in their plastic and putting it in the closed box provided was enough to keep them feeling super “fresh” each time.

Don't get this if you are an avid clay baker. Great for starting out. More for a child. Not enough of one color for a large projects. If you want to make jewelry, invest in better accessories then what comes in the kit. Case is nice, easy to use in the oven with no harsh smells..will stain your hands

I felt like you get a lot for the price. I thought the clay would not last long, but my kids have been using them for weeks and we still have plenty left. No weird odor and easy to clean up. Clay stays strong when it is cooked and the tools are convenient and easy to use. I am happy with the case it comes with making it easy to carry or bring places as a gift.

Wanted to do the tik tok trend of making little animals and such for a date night and this was perfect. The little tools were super helpful and the clay was really malleable and had enough of each color for us both.Did not use any of the little earring metal or anything yet but they seem like a nice option for kids.

The clay pieces are incredibly small, and the tools are almost worthless. Cheap plastic. If this is for a little kid then it's ok. If you have projects in mind than this is not the kit for you.
