I picked this up because I saw several people mention it as a dupe for my favorite every day lipstick (you know the one, it rhymes with "Slack Money"). While this one is a bit more opaque and cool-toned, when applied with a light hand, it is nearly indistinguishable from the more expensive lipstick it is duping.This product is also very comfortable and offers a bit of moisture without any major smudging or feathering. I think it will last me a while since I need so little for the desired effect, but when I run out I'll definitely repurchase!

Absolutely floored. This is by far the best lip product I've ever owned. Application is easy and precise, it's very hydrating, perfect level of pigment for sheer wear or buildability/layering. Not to mention it's so affordable.

The only reason this product isn't five stars for me is because I sometimes feel like it dries my lips out just a little after it fades off. This is a lip tint so It feels moisturizing to put on and the cherry color I have looks beautiful and I do get compliments on it quite a bit. I don't have to reapply tons and tons throughout the day, but a reapplication or two throughout the day will be needed since this doesn't dry down like a mat. but that's to be expected. I just wish my lips didn't feel so dry after using it. It's not that bad, I only notice it sometimes and my lips have been drier recently, but I can't help but notice that one thing. But for the price it is, e.l.f is killing it.

Just arrived (in bad shape). Hard to turn as it is not straight and lipstick rides the tube walls; and as photo shows has irregularities in shape. I can’t speak to the tint or ease of application as I obviously can’t use it currently - it is very soft. I do allow that it may have been compromised by being delivered in the hot Texas heat - but I do carry lipstick in my purse without a problem? Maybe it will “restore” after a few days inside with a.c.?

I got this as a dupe for Clinique's black honey. It's a beautiful color, definitely buildable. Goes on very smooth, and it's very moisturizing. You can apply it over a matching lipstick, or wear it on its own for a more toned down subtle color. It's versatile, I've found a lot of different skin tones looked lovely with this. Love it as a dupe! Would likely buy more shades.
