Whoever the engineer is for this company completely missed the point of how to transfer liquid or gas through pipe. Pipe must have NPT threads which is tapered to seal at each threaded joint. No amount of teflon tape or pipe dope will seal these fittings. If you want to take the time and tig weld every joint to seal it , then this is the part for you. If I had gotten these parts at the local hardware store I would have berated that person for trying to sell pipe with SAE threads. They look shiny and perfect, but are completely useless for their intended use. Whoever manufacured these parts wasted everyones time and material. There should be fines for incompetence at this magnitude. If you are doing an art project, making shiny windchimes or just enjoy wasting your money then this is the product for you. If you are running gas or liquid through pipe then you really need to find another seller that actually knows how to thread pipe.

Heavy, stainless steel, brushed finish. I wanted to find napkin rings that weren't cheap, flimsy imports. When I spied these, I was willing to take a chance. The inside are threaded and might snag satin or sheer fabrics. I used a lightweight cotton blend and they were perfect for that industrial look.
