Love my window shakers, but hate the fins that come with them…cheap, flimsy, J-U-N-K. This product is awesome - used it to replace the fins that were mis-cut/fit from the manufacturer…rather than box it back up and return for a new one, I tried this kit. Amazing difference (likely due to the measure twice, cut once…by a human…that contributed to the process). Now I’m looking at replacing the fins on all my units…the double wall is an added touch. If you can measure (twice) and cut (once), you won’t be disappointed!

The adhesive could’ve been much stronger.Even after making sure the surface was cleaned.Still had some minor issues sticking to the AC unit.

This product is too expensive for how much my husband and I struggled to install it. It took us 30 minutes of trying before it finally broke. I will be contacting the seller to request a refund.
3.0 out of 5 stars You better already own a saw, for starters
It took me like 3+ hours and two trips to the hardware store to get this installed. First thing that happened was the saw bowed while I was sawing and ruined the first side. Then while I was trying to fix what it ruined, the saw broke. So then I had to go buy a saw. Then I had to go back to the store and buy weather stripping because of the gaps caused by it not sealing properly, and by the spastic activity of the crappy saw. This is crap and it's overpriced crap. I really don't understand why there are so many positive reviews. I consider myself to be extremely handy. If something comes without instructions, I can Google and YouTube my way through pretty much any project. Do yourself a favor and make sure you have a good coping saw on hand if you're going to pull the trigger on this product, which I don't recommend you do.

Hack saw was a piece of junk, fell apart immediately!!! I had to use a serrated knife from my butcher block. The panels are great. However adding that recommended 1/8 inch didn't work for me. So I had to go back to sawing with the serrated knife.

Saw does suck but it works
2.0 out of 5 stars Do not purchase if you need a “clip on”
Purchased this because it was compatible with clip on units. It was nearly impossible to “slide” off the side. There were no instructions other than to “simply slide it off”. After about 30 minutes of trying and not getting it to budge, we finally figured out you need one person to squeeze both ends at the same time and the other to then “slide”. It took two adults, one being an architect, over an hour to get this thing on property.If you need it to clip on and not use the tape strips, go elsewhere.
Air conditioner panel
Only giving it 3 stars because we were late ordering the item and have our air conditioner put away for the year so we haven’t tried it. It does look like it is suitable though.
