I use this to bring my breakfast to work each morning. I typically have over easy eggs with veggies and meat. There are usually 2 1/2 hours in between the time I make breakfast to the time I eat it and the eggs still have runny yolk and are warm by the time I eat them. I was skeptical of purchasing this because of the reviews saying it’s too hard to open. As long as you press the release button, this is not hard to open. There is a lot of room in this and it’s easy to clean.

Bought this for my son’s lunch and he loves it. It’s lightweight but very durable. Keeps the food hot until lunch and fits a decent amount of food in it.

So far, so good. I wanted a wide-mouthed container to replace another food thermos we have that keeps soups and chilis hot for my husband’s lunches. Our old thermos does what it should but has the smaller opening and a lid to serve as a bowl - just more work and mess. This Bentgo 19oz is perfect. We’ve only had it a week but have used it every day. Follow the instructions! If you want food to stay hot/warm longer, fill it with hot water and let it sit for at least 5 minutes before putting hot food in it. For cold foods, fill it with icy cold water first. So far I’ve put hot soup or chili in it each day between 7 and 7:30 am, and he reports that by the time he eats between noon and 1 pm it’s still plenty hot. Of course it cools some. Find a thermos that doesn’t and tell the rest of us. The important thing is that it stays hot enough to be enjoyable and to not allow spoilage. I put the container in a small lunch bag that’s insulated with a foil lining that retains either heat or cold.If you have small hands you might find it difficult to open this particular size because it’s wide. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. You DO need to press the release button under the handle before attempting to open it. I find that if it’s still a little tough to turn you can press it again and relieve a bit more pressure and then it’s very easy. Very happy with this container so far.
5.0 out of 5 stars BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO MY KIDS FOR LUNCH TIME
I am so glad that I bought this thermal. I loved it so much that I bought 4 of them! And I’ll probably buy more. I tested how long this thermal kept warm by adding boiling water to the thermal and close it. I checked on it 3 times within a 24 hours period. After 6 hours, the water was still hot and steaming. After 12 hours the water was still a good hot temperature but not burning to the touch. But definitely hot. And then after 24 hours the water was no longer steaming or hot but Luke warm.My kid’s school do not have hot lunch services. We have to pack our kids a lunch. They do have a microwave but the lines for the microwave is so long. By the time my kids are able to heat up their foods, time is up for lunch. So I bought these thermals so that I can prepare hot meals for my kids. And 9/10 times, the meals that I have packaged for my kids are still yummy hot when they open the containers for lunch 4-5 hours after I packaged them. These thermals are NOT microwave safe! They wash very easily by hand or in the dishwasher.Someone from another review recommended that we fill the container up with boiling water first, close it, leave the water for 5-10min, dump the hot water out, then add your hot foods to the container. Don’t forget to push down on the middle button on the lid for a good seal. If you don’t do this, your top might pop off if it is tipped on the side or upside down. I had to learn this the hard way.At first I thought that the price was expensive for the product. But after using the product for several months now, it is worth every penny. I have bought more since. This would be great for road trips and picnics too, not just to pack lunches.Works for cold foods too. But my kids like hot foods so I mostly make only hot foods to put in the container.

This is overall a good product. It’s very big so it can definitely hold a good size meal and it stays warm all the way until my daughter goes to lunch which is the main purpose for why I got it. The rose gold color is super cute. If I had to mention the downside of it, I would say that water sometimes gets into the lid after washing and you’ll hear it shaking in there and the button at the top that I believe lets out the hot air can be a little dysfunctional, so be careful with pressing that button other than that I have no complaints

It was winter and my husband's food was getting cold very quickly. With this container, the food stays warm, and I think it lasts long enough to eat the food at an acceptable temperature in very cold climates.

After many try on insulated food containers I finally find one worth the name of insulated. It's large and low profile and keep the food seal and hot! I recommend!
Great for keeping food warm!
It works very well for keeping my food warm. I fill it at 7:30 and by 12:30 it is still hot and ready to eat. I did accidentally overfill it once (was warned by the user manual so that's on me) and the resulting mess was a bit hard to clean, so watch out for that. Nice and compact and fits enough for most adult full meal.

I bought this for my daughter and unfortunately it suctions so much that the lid won’t open!
