This was my teen daughter's first introduction into the world of making lip glosses, and this kit had everything she could have possibly needed. It's true that we bought some coconut oil and Vaseline once she got started, so she could expand her range of textures, but the kit's base and jojoba oil are really effective! Plus, she's allergic to pretty much everything, and this kit was the only one I could find that was "safe" for her delicate skin. She's having so much fun making lip glosses! USER NOTE: Those lip dyes are serious and strong; they stained the plastic cutting board we use as her work surface. Soap didn't remove the stains from the cutting board. But it's a small price to pay for the creativity and joy she's experiencing with this perfect starter kit!

I bought this for my daughter because she had a project on how to make lip gloss. Everyone loved it. It was easy to make and it wasn’t sticky when applied. Great kit.

Ordered for a birthday party and the box is tiny. There was barely enough to make enough for 10 girls. They, at age 13, were excited about this and very quickly underwhelmed.
