I used this ink to reload ink cartridges but the cartridges weren't good for this application. I ended up buying a new printer. Ink is good and plenty and can find other uses for it. I would buy again if need is there.

I tried to bypass greedy HP's expensive ink and refill the ink cartridges using this kit. Nope. It's difficult finding the sponge. I removed the sticker and squirted a bit into the cartridge but all I got was a mess of ink on my hand and cartridge. I don't think it's worth it.I read the reason ink dries up is because people leave their printers on. The way to seal the cartridges and keep them from drying up is to turn the printer OFF. This way, the print heads are sealed which prevents them from drying up so quickly. Of course HP won't tell you this because they want you to buy more cartridges so the execs can drive their Bugatti's to work. Inkjet printers are engineered to waste product. If you ever take a cartridge apart like I did, there is usually just one, tiny little squirt of ink on the sponge. Canon is now not allowing people to use their scanner if the ink is empty -- that is greed.

there was NO instructions included, and I have been trying to get the ink cartridge to work in printer and now finding out the 'chip' on cartridge has to be reset so the printer reads it is full. I have not gotten instructions on that. Unable to make copies. Added: did not realize it was past return date. Still unable to get the refilled ink cartridge to work in printer. Disappointed.

Used for HP printer. Worked once with an empty cartridge but now it's just a mess. Will try with new cartridge and see if that's any better. For HP printers, suggest you don't wait till the cartridge is completely empty. HP may be doing something to mess up printing as they show this cartridge as empty based on number of pages printed, not actual measurement of ink.
