5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected
Great product. It is the second one that I have purchased for two different PC's. Great sound and volume control with bluetooth capability. Very easy to set up, I just plugged it in an it was ready to go. I really like the look and it doesn't take up a lot of space . Just really a great product at a great price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice desktop speaker
It's a good addition to almost any desktop. I think it looks way better than 2 tower speakers. The sound is clear and crisp. The max volume is perfect for a desktop speaker. I would have liked an option to change the light color and maybe a hard stop for the volume control in either direction but hey, I wanted speakers, not decorations and the volume controls work fine. I also like the auxiliary port conveniently placed on the front of the unit. It's a good value for the money, and the build quality seems on par with price. Colors could vary, but fine the way it is. I would recommend this product.
4.0 out of 5 stars PC WARNING; You may need to adjust your driver settings.
Was getting ready to return this thing until I started to poke around online. Realized the default audio driver for this didn't have ANY kind of equalizer or sound setting beside volume adjustment. After I got the proper driver installed the sound went from 1970's ham radio to crisp and clear base and treble. It's a bit of a process to get this set up and I don't want to trigger anything leaving links so just look up "Bass Boost & Enhancement Missing in Sound Settings {Equalizer Settings} Windows 10 & Windows 11" on YouTube. It's quick and simple step by step of how to set up everything in 3 minutes.Overall review. (now that everything's set up properly), The sound is great, the speaker itself weighs almost nothing. Set up (would be) pretty "plug and play". I'm personally using the Bluetooth with powered USB set-up. If you have a old phone charger laying around and an available plug, I'd recommend that over using up a USB on your computer. The cable could be longer and it's non-replaceable so if you need more reach you'll need extension cables. The RGB is also pretty bright and needs to be manually turned off with not in use. So if this is near wherever you sleep, that may be an issue.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy Install. Good value!
I bought this to use for my computer speaker to play my g=Guitar Pro music back on my computer while I practice. It works great. Its compact, but sounds good to follow the music while playing my guitar on my amp. It is also nice that it works for other stuff for the computer sound.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best Speaker for price
I bought the Computer Speaker a month ago, and I couldn’t be more happier from the results I got. The sound and quality of the device is excellent, as it delivers such a rich bass and crisp highs for my gaming experience. This also fit perfectly on my desk and easy to set up from the two different methods. The control knob was easy to use and very responsive. I would recommend this product for anyone trying to upgrade their audio in their setup!
3.0 out of 5 stars Know what you are buying
Pros: good looking, subtle but not overwhelming RGBcompactgood Bluetooth mode (but very bad AUX mode)good mid, clear vocal/voice (but terrible bass and highs)Cons:1\ compare to other sub $50 speakers/ speaker bars: very bad bass (none of any sub $50 speakers have good bass but this one is particularly bad)2\ extremely terrible highs. literally the worst highs I've had from any cheap speakersIn other words, you don't wanna use this one for any music! (but very clear mid, great for vocal/ voice calls and perhaps gaming?)3\ strangely, AUX mode sound quality is a LOT worse than bluetooth (typically it's the other way around)4\ cable design, usb A power source needs to be very close to AUX port5\ connectivity: so far, the only way I found to switch back to AUX mode (after BT connectiion) is to reset
5.0 out of 5 stars Speaker sounds great! Has cool LEDs as well. Looks really nice and clean under my mounted monitors.
The speaker sounds great and well worth the low price. The LEDs provide a nice ambient light that is on even when the computer is asleep and makes my desk looks cool
4.0 out of 5 stars Initial Impressions
After impulse buying a new 17" gaming monitor yesterday, I realized it doesn't have speakers so I ended up buying this.Plugged it in to the monitor's USB port for power and headphone out and boom - solved! The sound quality is surprisingly decent. There's actually SOME bass which is already more than most smaller TV/Monitor speakers have. It gets quite loud despite only running off 5v.The high end isn't very pronounced, but you don't buy a $50 speaker expecting it to be the best in the game. You're able to turn off the long front LED, but not the LEDs on the side.
Easy to use laptop speaker
Update: I increased to 5 stars because of the after sales service on this soundbar. They provided lifetime warranty and offered to ship me a new one. This speaker works fine plugged into the audio jack of a smartTV as well as some Bluetooth TVs as an added bonus. Technically there is no need for there to even be a Bluetooth option when you have to have the dual plug end plugged in for the USB power anyway, so I find the Bluetooth unnecessary, but it's there as an option.I hooked this up to my daughters laptop as she plays a lot of video games and chats with friends online and Bluetooth worked, but again a dangling audio jack cable seems pointless so I just plugged it in and forget bluetooth. The sound quality is a little fuzzy and the louder you turn the volume up the worse it gets. It's a larger size speaker that you wouldn't be carrying around as a portable speaker anyway since it isn't rechargeable but you need to have room for this wide speaker on your desk or laptop area as it's quite lengthy. If you put it in your bedroom beware even if you turn it off the side green RBG lights still remain on and with no way to turn them off other than unplugging it, so if lights at night in your room bother you, you may want to place it somewhere else. Otherwise, not a bad speaker for the price. It is very easy to use with everything on one knob and very simple.
A well built sleek looking portable computer sound bar with decent sound quality
I find this sound bar very helpful to improve the poor sound quality & volume output level on my laptop, especially when watching movies/videos. It is also handy for use with various devices around the house. It is a solidly built piece of hardware packaged with good attention to detail (e.g. I appreciate the nice touch that there are blue colour gum labels on the unit to explain how to operate the knob and the contact info for customer support). It’s not perfect though. To me, the operational design can be more flexible/sophisticated (e.g. I prefer the LED multicolour breathing to stay off permanently but there is no way to set that as default) so it can be rather annoying (to me anyway) when connecting to a different device each time. But that is not a deal breaker to me.I should point out that it is not really a Hi-Fi speaker for the audiophiles. But it does provide much better sound to my laptops, and my Bolo Echo Dot smart speakers around the house. In conclusion, I am happy with my purchase.
Not bad, not perfect
I have had this device for one week, and have the following impressions:1) The lights - turning off the lights does not turn off the lights on the ends. Not ideal - when you want a dark room, you want all lights off when you want all lights off. Also, the light effects do not apply to the ends - the ends are forever green. This seems odd. In favour, however, the lights are pretty cool. I left them on the cool breathing effect.2) The cable - a nice, rugged, braided cable seems pretty sturdy. However - you cannot disconnect it from the speaker. So if a cable issue *does* arrive - the entire unit is impacted. You can't just replace the cable. Seems not ideal.3) Powering - I do like that it is USB powered. Keeps things tidy.4) Sound - It turns up louder than I expect you will need on a desktop. Plenty loud for music. The bass is fine, superior to my built-in monitor speakers. A nice upgrade!5) connectivity - nice flexibility between BT and wired, but wired is not an option I wish to use. I want the wireless appearance on my desk, ad I want the BT functions from the device, like play/pause. So my review is BT-only.I noticed, right after installing this device, that my other BT devices, previously stable, became unstable. Specifically I have a BT mouse, and keyboard. Both devices will often experience a BT disconnect, and lag in reconnecting. The impact of this is, I move the mouse, and have to wait 5s or so until the computer reconnects it and the cursor moves. Same goes for the KB. I have to hit a key, and see if the KB is connected. If not, wait 5s for it to connect, then everything is fine. This happens often, like 10x a day. I contacted support, and they mentioned 2.4Ghz interference.. but until this device showed up, there was no issue. And removing this device (unplugging it, powering it off) restores stability to the other BT devices. Not sure what's going on here, but it's a drag.UPDATE:After working with Bluedee support, they recommended a move to a non-BT wireless mouse, to reduce interference. This is an acceptable compromise, and seems to have fixed the BT disconnect issues, so bumped the review up to a 4.
Little disappointed
A little disappointed with that sounder.Pro :- Well packaged- Seem not cheap made- It's small so perfect on my desk- Can plug the sounder on my win10 desktop- Can use the Bluetooth via my MacBook proCons :- The cable is well made but so much short. On cable and at the end it's splitting for usb and 3.5mm.- The USB cable is only for the power#lighning. Why in 2022 we can just plug the usb as a plug and play speaker ?- The lightning is cool but limited. It's random color, just blinking.- The bass just don't exist... The sound is not bad but with no bass.- For the sound control, I see better, it's a wheel with no force on it. Like the old HIFI stereo..So nice speaker if you watch tv show, videoconference but for music with bass or video game I don't think it's the best choice for you. You can have more greatest option for the same price maybe less.,
Great little speaker that fits an RGB desk aesthetic incredibly well.
The cord that houses the input and USB is really nice and has a good quality to it. It's fabric woven and thicker, and is easy to hide.Sound in itself is reasonable for the price. While it isn't groundbreaking.. why would you be spending this sort of money for sound when you want exceptional quality? I'd purchase a Bose product if that were the case. This is a great little sound bar to help keep the desk clean, and has a great look a feel to it. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a nice cheap speaker.
