7/14/2023:After initially having been denied warranty support, the GoTrax folks stepped up and made this right. They were prompt in their communications and they made every effort to resolve the issue. Although I was out of town and slow to respond, they worked with me and were very pleasant and patient with me. WEI was a representative who seemed to genuinely care about making this right and I am thankful for those efforts. After this situation got the attention of the right person, I was given 100% support. They absolutely came through for my daughter. Thank you to Wei Z and Jane!PREVIOUS POST:AVOID THIS PRODUCT! This scooter is designed with a battery connector that makes poor contact, thereby heating up and melting the connector. This is due to a bad design, not abuse. When this happens, the scooter is unusable and you have to buy an entire battery assembly, not just a connector. Worse, GoTrax has a 1 year warranty, EXCEPT for Bolo sales which is reduced to 180 days. My daughter's scooter lasted more than 180 days but far less than one year. GoTrax won't warranty the part and has no batteries in stock to sell. My 10 year old saved her own money to buy this scooter and it has failed with ZERO support. AVOID GOTRAX AT ALL COSTS. I bought two of these for my two 12 year old sons for Christmas. It took a couple of months before we were able to use them due to weather. They finally got them outside and they worked great. A couple of weeks later I found out that one wasn’t working. I ended up emailing customer service and, after submitting some pictures and a video, they sent a brand new replacement part so that the scooter works fine now. Very nice customer service to fix the issue, and my boys have loved the scooters! Kayla was the best to deal with!

We had a competitor scooter before this and decided to ditch it for this one. This one is way better, it is solid, holds our very tall 8 year old no problem, and has a great battery life (7 miles!). We had an issue in the beginning with the electric brake and gotrax quickly sent us an entire new module to just swap out with just a couple of screws, super easy process and there weren't 10,000 questions, etc., just a help email and a new module. Thanks Lydia for the help!

I purchased my first electric scooter and have been using it for about a month now. It's great quality runs nice and smooth. It's comfortable to ride and looks great. the scooter's folding process is really convenient. It transforms into a compact size, making it easy to carry and store in my tight spaces. Highly recommend this electric scooter to anyone looking for a convenient and eco-friendly mode of transportation.
Value exceeding price, good purchase
Nice and sturdy electric scooter. Speed is perfect for kid/teenager. I weight about 80kg and it is holding up good. Speed is about 11-15km/hr depend on riders weight. Very easy to use.Cruise mode is something to be mentioned to kids otherwise may cause accident in falling.Takes about 4 hours to charge and for me it last about 8km, enough for commute for sure. For kids is definitely going to last longer. Fit into the truck without much stress. Solid plastic wheels are little bumpy when riding, but that’s limited to the price.I bought two for each kid and they loving it.When you first charging, you need to push the charger head in harder and make a few twist, it won’t charge if you are too gentle.Great product for kids, for adults you might want other version.
