Doctor told me to take 1000mg salt. The pills taste awful, so I bought the capsules. But some capsules have 320mg sodium and this has 390mg sodium. Not sure how that works, but these have the most sodium I could find, and the price is good.

I do a lot of fasting an need a way to keep my electrolytes level and this is perfect!!! Pro tip: For all those out there saying they threw up from taking these, that’s a reaction in the stomach likely because it’s empty or you took too much at one time always take with food or with at least 20oz of water if on an empty stomach. The stomach can’t digest salt but it can handle salt water very easily.

Taking one of these tablets will make you feel like a hole is being burned into your stomach lining. Drinking water can sometimes reduce that feeling; however, I just took one with a big glass of water and puked not even five minutes later. Better to get a buffered sodium pill.
