Great quality backpack! My daughter is in 5th grade and was ready for a more mature style- she loves the classic black and brown and this bag has plenty of space for all her books and materials. Jansport is a great brand- very sturdy and built to last. Functional and good looking!

They used to have one of these when I was in high school and have to say it was very sturdy very well-made and I couldn’t find it at any of the stores I went to and of course I found it on Bolo and it’s as perfect as I remember in high school but More improved with the extra pockets I love it. I don’t care how old you are. We all need a very good backpack and this is it. It’s a little pricey, but worth it. The quality of transport never fails, especially this specific style

Update: I have had this backpack for about 1 month and one of the leather straps on the zippers has broken. I wondered about how those would hold up and my suspicion was correct. I don't think I am going to send it back. I'll probably just replace it with some parachute cord. I bought this backpack as a replacement for my 23 year old Jansport!! The old one finally broke down along the bottom seam. So far I am pleased with the new version. The large compartment is a little smaller due to the laptop pouch but I don't have any trouble carrying what I need for work each day. I'll see how it goes next year as my backpack was always my "personal item" on airplanes. I used to be able to cram a lot in the backpack to save space in my carry-on suitcase. Hopefully the new one will work just as well!!
