I took a chance on an unreviewed product that had basically the same photo as a bunch of others. Really glad I did. I’m a crew coach and have used this 5x a week for about two months. It’s still on the first set of batteries and is usually loud enough over the sound of the launch and the rowing shell for all of my athletes to hear me. I used it one day in the pouring rain and was pretty sure it would never work again but it has kept on chugging along. I have no idea how I would use the included plug that maybe charges rechargeable batteries so I’m just using regular AA batteries. I would definitely recommend this guy.

I got this for our neighborhood block party which we had last week.First, this is easy to use. It is sufficiently durable for occasional family use but I don't recommend this for daily use in emergency services. If you do use it that way you will likely have to replace it within a year or two. For my purpose it was perfect. We had over a hundred people show up for the block party and half of them were kids and frankly my voice isn't loud enough to get their attention so this worked perfect for announcements. I probably won't need it again until next year. I was told this was quite audible from 150 feet away.For the above purposes and with the above caveats I highly recommend this.
