5.0 out of 5 stars The ONLY SPF moisturizer for my acne-prone skin
Full disclosure, this product was recommended to me by a friend who works for the company, but I was not given any compensation or free product for this review. Just being honest about how I heard about it. My skin is so sensitive and acne-prone so using SPF products is tricky. I love this product because it's the only one that has never irritated my skin or clogged my pores. I also love the way it feels on. It's not overly sticky or greasy. It is pretty white when you first put it on, but that fades. It's also pretty thick, so I usually put a little of my non-SPF moisturizer on first (La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer) to make it easier to spread. Great stuff! I don't love the pump tube. I wish they would put it in a regular squeeze tube or a pot.

Good moisturizer and sunscreen seems to work well. Make sure to wash your face st the end of the day because it could cause zits if left on overnight. It will leave a white hue till it warms to your skin a little but all Zink sunscreens do this. I’d be concerned if it didn’t leave a little bit of a white tint.

I have combo skin and figured i would give this a go since I love my PanOxyl body/face wash. It really does keep your skin from getting oily, which is great if you have oily skin and are planning on being outside where you would get sweaty. that being said, I would not wear this if I weren't going outside because it is so drying, but that may be just me since my skin is both dry and oily. It doesn't have as strong of a spf smell as others do, but it gives a good white cast. Anyone darker than fair skin will have an obvious white cast. I have been "diluting" it with one pump of this moisturizer and another of my Cerave moisturizer and that helped a lot with the white cast and extra dryness

I have a very oily face. After washing, within an hour my face is shiny. I figured out when I added it to my slightly too dark liquid makeup it kept the oil away! I have also used it before I apply my mineral powder makeup. It does make my face white and looks almost purple so you’ll want to use makeup over it. It’s a bit thick and doesn’t rub in well but I really like it.

The moisturizer is thick and white. It is hard to spread. Although the mineral sunscreen content is only 30 SPF, there is a huge white cast (takes about 5-10 mins to blend out). This moisturizer might not be a good option for darker skin tones. Some benefits would be that it is great for oily skin, has SPF, and is unscented. Overall, I would say it is okay. For the price, I would probably use two separate items for moisturizing and sunscreen. Especially since the spreadability is difficult and the SPF content isn’t even that high.

I'd say this is one of the best drug store 100% mineral sunscreens you can buy right now. There is 0 white cast on my skin after a couple mines when most others do leave one (full disclosure, I'm very palor). I'm not 100% convinced this would work on all darker skin types, but it does absorb very well so it might be worth a shot! I personally stopped using tinted mineral sunscreens because they're typically too tinted for my skin but that might be another option if you're looking for a mineral spf for darker skin. I used 2 full pumps on my hand in my photo in order to show the amount recommended by dermatologists doesn't leave a white cast on my skin. This also doesn't dry my skin out like many mineral spfs do. It's definitely worth a try for most people!

I wanted to be able to give this product a five star review. I really did. I have always had very problematic skin, recently exacerbated by medication that causes acne, and this company's 10% benzoyl peroxide face wash along with a topical prescription has helped me finally get it under control. Unfortunately, the 10% dries out my skin, a lesser percentage wash doesn't control the acne, and my skin is so naturally oily that any kind of moisturizer immediately turns it back into an oil slick that erupts with blemishes. So, I thought that a 4% benzoyl peroxide moisturizer might give me back some moisture without drawing out the oil and gave this a shot.Well, it doesn't moisturize my skin at all. What it does do, and which I've been quite pleased with, is allow me to use a second moisturizer after for sensitive skin that *does* give me back some moisture without my face exploding and requiring that I carry oil absorption papers everywhere I go. For that I would really love to be able to give this product at least four stars, only the pump SUCKS. The first tube I got the pump didn't even work at all upon opening it. I thought, "Hmm...maybe this is one of those instances where you have to turn it first...?" but no, you don't have to do that, it just didn't work. I tried getting the cap off to see if I could get at the moisturizer, which didn't work either. Faced with the only remaining option of cutting the end of the tube open, I contacted Bolo and they immediately replaced it with a tube that had a pump that DID work - for ten whole days. I got my replacement moisturizer on 1/5 and yesterday I noticed that I could barely get any moisturizer out of it. Same thing today. I could get just barely enough moisturizer out this morning to cover the worst areas of my skin (T-zone) and tonight after I washed my face before bed I got one tiny pump and then nothing. I don't know how their pump is designed, but the quality control is clearly terrible. I will not be buying more of this.

Feels thick on the skin.. looks like sunscreen on face (gives off white color) doesn’t really “matte” your face either.. i don’t know if it’s the authentic cream /:
