I bought this plastic container on wheels to store my little dogs dog food in. It is very durable and made from pretty heavy plastic. It is a really nice size and hold a 14 lb bag of dog food with room to spare. I love that it is not too wide and fits right next to my shelving unit in my laundry room, out of the way. The top is well sealed and even has a lock on it so that it isn’t easily opened by the dog. I love this container because it makes it handy whenever I want to dip out some food for my dog. I don’t have to open the bag, dip the food out, and then try and seal the bag back. This is so convenient to use this container. I love that it is semi-clear so that you can see how much dog food is left in the container.

We use these containers for multiple types of pet food and pet treats, but we also use them to store other items such as cables. I think they would work well to hold toys that kids move around to different rooms. They work well, are easy to move around, and can stand some abuse. Our German Shepherds often try to open the container that holds their treats, but so far have not been able to as long as we latch the lid (they can open the lid if it is unlatched). I suspect an overly aggressive dog could open it, ours do not chew on them or tip them over. They seal well and look nice. Well worth the cost.

I recently discovered weevils in our food pantry, which apparently came from a bulk bag of barley and spread to other grains and even newly unopened bags of flour. Yuk! I had always stored as much as I can in sealed glass jars, then stored the rest in their original bags in the pantry, but after this weevil problem, I decided to order these large food storage containers, which attracted me because of their large capacity, their ability to roll easily and the fact that they are sealed and airtight, so those little weevil buggers shouldn’t be able to get in!I just keep each ingredient inside its original bag and put all the bags inside the plastic containers, so it’s easy to see what’s in there and to pull out the bag and refill the glass jars as needed. I was pleasantly surprised at how much room there is in each container and having a two pack is very convenient. I don’t store my dry dog food in there, as I already have a large storage container for that and therefore I haven’t tried it, but looking at these standing next to my actual dog food container, I would think that 30lb of kibble might be pushing it a little!I like that they are made in USA and BPA free. I have a very keen sense of smell, especially for toxic chemicals, but I don’t smell anything particularly chemical coming from these containers, as I have seen mentioned in other reviews.$30 for two is not cheap, but then most of this type of container is pricey everywhere and these seem like a fair price in comparison. So far I would recommend them.

it's great because it fits well between the washer and the dryer. it's tall and holds about 35 lbs. of dry food, is translucent so we can see how much food is inside, and the lid folds back, making it easy to access the food.

This is a fantastic way to store the giant bags/boxes of birdseed. The lid is easy to open and close and still works well after several years of use. Bonus use is as a short/term doorstop that’s easy to roll into place.
Pretty good container for dog food
Holds a full giant bag of dog food, is super easy to open and close and the wheels make it super easy to move around even when full. I'm actually surprised at how much weight the wheels hold without any issue. It seems like it seals fairly well, well enough to keep the food fresh at least. If you are looking to keep something like weevils out, you may find that the seal isn't good enough for such small insects. Cockroaches and medium-sized ants wouldn't be able to get in though.
