Great gift for families but you must pay for additional features after trial period runs out.It's hard to find details if others don't have their information in their trees marked public.There is a lot of information to sort through.Be prepared to uncover information that you didn't know about family members.It was easy to lie on records back in the day and people didn't necessarily check out information written on marriage, birth and divorce records. A lot of things will turn up if you dig deep enough.

Spit in tube and send. Seriously easy. Best part is the tree which is better than 23andme in almost every way. I use 23andme to find people and then Ancestry to correct whatever engaging is the 23andme AI. Finds records even which is seriously cool. So yeah, Iay riff on it and it is expensive compared to 23andme, buy it definitely is a better research tool. 23andme is just better for medical.

I have tried multiple other DNA services trying to track down my mother’s biological father with zero success and limited ancestors.. took the Ancestry test in June and was connected with my mothers long lost family within 3 days of getting the results. 67 year mystery solved by spitting in a tube and spending 30minutes online!!

you cant ship the sample back to the lab from Saudi Arabia, the prepaid shipping label is for inside the USA only, the buyer didn't mention this issue
