I am constantly buying items like this as I live in a rental townhome with a moisture problem. I also live in a rainy climate. Pacific Northwest. My landlord does the bare minimum maintenance and won’t get to the root cause of many issues. During our heavy rain season and all Winter, my house gets a musty/mildew smell. Sometimes a strong cat pee smell that comes with it from under the home. I do not own cats, and I have had maintenance come out to seal all vents to under the home. I have done lots of sealing my self from the inside.The smell drives me nuts. These little odor eliminators really help. I also use DampRid buckets. I place these on my stairs. Kitchen/dining area, bathroom on first floor and closets.The first floor is where the strong odor resides. I notice a huge difference when I use the product. They do the job!

I got these because they were cheap, but they do not seem effective enough for what I was trying to use them on. It is difficult to know exactly when it is time to swap these out. It feels wasteful throwing the bulking plastic containers away.I should have just gotten an air purifier.

I tried these and DampRid and found these did a much better job of controlling odors. I was actually shocked. I have DampRid in the basement right now and it the basement smells musty. That was not the case with the A&H. So I'm going back to A&H and recommend you give it a try.
