I spent weeks looking up different futon mattresses for a frame we bought last month and I’m so happy I went with this one. This mattress is amazing. It was so easy to set up, soft/plush but also firm, affordable, and COMFORTABLE. Don’t think twice if you’re looking for a comfort futon mattress- this is the one you want!We bought a cover off of Bolo for it and it really elevated the mattress in our space!

I love this mattress. I love the look, and it is so so comfortable. The zipper is easy to remove and put back on, and after washing it, it didn’t shrink, which was a huge fear of mine. When I took off the cover, I was curious what it’s like on the inside so I ripped a bit of the non removable cover (easy to sew back on though) and saw it’s 2 thick foam pads and then a memory foam pad that’s probably 1.5 inches that holds the 2 together. The reason why I love this is because when you fold the fouton mattress, it doesn’t misshape or deform the mattress, since it’s already slit by the 2 parts. It also doesn’t cause any sagging from the top to bottom.I sit on this fouton every day, and have slept in it several times as well and have no noticed any signs of wear or dents for 2 months now. My fouton is right next to a window so I was concerned about the yellowing as mentioned in other reviews, but if it has yellowed, it’s been even so I haven’t noticed! But I really don’t think there has been any yellowing.Side note, I had my window open once and it rained really bad, so a quarter of my fouton got SOAKED. I took off the cover and moved the mattress to allow drying and airflow and put a fan on it for 24 hours and there was no impact on the mattress. I was worried the wet would ruin the foam but it’s as good as new!

First of all, a lot of reviews say that this is hard. It kind of is. But memory foam is either your thing or it isn’t. Personally, I love it. So if you have a firm memory foam mattress on your bed, this is the same thing only futon style. It is thicker than expected. I sit on my futon now way more than I did when I had the original spring mattress on it. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that it doesn’t have a crease or any Velcro attachments so it does slip in the frame a bit. The designers would have a perfect product if they added either of these features so it stayed on the frame a little better. Overall, it’s very comfortable and nicely made for the price.

While futons are functionally great, they never seem to quite get the comfort part right. But this mattress does not disappoint! I paired it with a sturdy poplar frame and a soft/textured waterproof futon mattress protector that fits like a glove. It is perfect for our spare bedroom and guests don’t even realize they are sleeping on a futon.

I am wowed by how I can't feel the bars of my futon frame through this mattress. That was really important to me. It is a very firm mattress. Good to sleep on, but not every night.

Well worth its cost!
I bought this for my sons second bedroom in his condo. It is amazing to sleep on. No sweating and very comfortable.I slept on it and did not sweat and it was very comfortable. (Comfort is always personal but I liked it as as it was firm enough not to let the futon frame come through.Yes I am recommending this product.
Great replacement for the old futon
So much more comfortable than our old one. Size was as described. Seems great after a few weeks of use.
