I'll share a pic of my project as soon as it is done, but is working to great for me. I ordered two different wood look peal and sticks before this one. They looked so fake - just awful. I am really happy with the look of this one. Though both of the others had groves to mimic wood, this was the only one that actually looked close to real wood.It was easy to apply though for me time-consuming (I'm a perfectionist). I am making a "wood tray" to go on top of my dogs kennel. I don't like the plain top. I used mdf and had it cut to size at a big box hardware store. Based on online tips, I primed it to improve adherence. You can sand mdf also. I didn't. Maybe I'll regret that. But so far so good.I used a hair dryer as I smoothed it to the board. This helped a lot with bubbles. I also had to go back over the top with the dryer. The heat helps raise up the parts with bubbles and poor adhesion. The become pretty easy to smooth out. The hair dryer also makes the edges easy to wrap as well. The heat almost melts the vinyl around the edge of the board. That said I think I will need to glue the edges down with contact cement. The rough edges of the mdf make it difficult for the paper to stick.So I am really happy. Much easier and cheaper that staining a board or trying to paint a faux finish. I'd buy this again if I have another project. I'm thinking of making wood valances for my dining room. This might be an option.

If you are wanting to cover up an old buffet top or table top....do not sleep on this product. It is not contact paper thin, the vinyl is thick, textured and so easy to adhere. The color is a true dark brown, exactly as shown on the product information.

I purchased this product to recover a desk that had been well-used and was looking pretty shabby. I was very pleased with how easy it was to apply smoothly, and you can't even tell I used two strips next to each other to cover the desk. Very happy with the result! I will add that this has a slight texture to it, so it is fine for a computer desk, but if you do a lot of writing or drawing on single sheets of paper, it might not work as well.

It is not at all what it looks like in the pictures and trying to return it was a bigger hassle. I ordered a few and the material was not good at all. Couldn't use it and couldn't return it either.

This is likely just a personal preference but contact papers are one of my favorite quick and easy fixes for updating almost anything. I’m used to the thin vinyl films which made wrapping corners or over hands very simple. This product, due to the texture and overall thickness, struggled over corners. There would be a lot thickness where there was overlap which prevent drawers from fully closing or would make very sharp corners. It ended up being best to cut everything to size by measurements. Still came out great just extra work.

I bought this to re-do a wooden trunk I received from my great grandmother. It has been painted over and decoupaged in the past to fit the space, but it was time to make it fit the space again. I wanted to make it look more like it used to before all the redecorating it suffered but I also didn't want to have to scrape and sand it for days/weeks. So I bought this to cover it up- and it worked great! I did buy 2 rolls which I needed for this project. It cut really well and with use of a hair dryer to increase the stickiness of the adhesive it is holding up well! (In did this in April) It it a thicker paper and it has a 3D texture to it like wood grain which I really liked because I didn't want the trunk to look tacky. I'm happy with how it came out. I didn't get a good before pic until after I completed the top but you can kind of get the gist of how it looked before I finished it.

Looks so real! My friends are blown away when I tell them it’s not real wood.I used this to refurbish a storage cube and it came out way better than I expected.The dark brown goes well with the black as well and the wall paper accent piece! Just be patient as usual when applying! And definitely finish off with the heat from a hair dryer and said in the directions

It is just a paper sticker not a vinyl or wrap.And not even a water resistance material.
