Bought this for just a little extra bum cushion in a sit on top kayak. My weight is 125. The amount of cushion is perfect without raising me too high. The pad is larger than I had visualized and completely covered the seat, with a tad extra in the back. Worked out great. It did not slip or shift. And after 5 hours of paddling and fishing—I got back to shore and realized I hadn’t had one minute of butt discomfort. Bum not hurting = less lower back pain for me. Inside my boat doesn’t generally get very wet. So the cushion stayed dry. With proper care I don’t think that would be an issue. I ordered a second one for my other kayak. Guess it depends on what one is hoping for in a cushion and how it will be used. This is a great value for the buck and me (and my bum) are very pleased.

I work from home for a living and don't have any medical problems like tailbone injuries or anything like that but I do sit for about 8-10 hours a day on the computer and for the record I am about 140 pounds and 6ft tall.The reason I bought this was because I sit so much per day and every chair I buy (up to the 300 range generally) eventually wears out or the cushion stops being as soft for my skinny/bony butt. This thing solves that problem and for a low price, in-fact its more comfortable than even the best chair I ever bought was when it was new. It isn't super mushy like you don't just sink all the way through, this actually feels great and soft while providing enough support. If you put the side that is supposed to be the bottom on your chair it won't slide around, if you put on your seat upside-down it will but that is user error not the product's fault.I don't always write reviews for non-vine products but when something really makes me happy I can't help myself, if you are skinny like me and want something more comfortable to sit in while driving or working then get yourself one of these. I only got it yesterday so I can't comment on how long this will actually last although it feels well made and other reviews likely touch on this if you are worried about it.

I purchased the cushion for my daughter long study days college As far as she’s concerned it’s perfectly comfortable sitting with pain relief as you switch positions. It’s of high quality and the heat level is good it’s firmness is of good standards as while as the height as it sits in the chair. You can take off the cover to wash it to ensure its longevity. I would say it’s as comfortable a purple cushion without the added expense.

...what else is there to say? It is soft and comfy, holds its shape, and it is almost a square so I can rotate it occasionally so as to prevent any sort of indentation from forming long-term (not that I really expect that). I have tried a more expensive cushion, one that is kind of shaped to fit one's butt, with a hole to prevent pressure on the tailbone (I think), and (I guess) sort of force one to sit up straight, and it did not work for me. I guess my butt is too bony! LOL Plus, I tend to slouch sometimes (yes, I know, I am not supposed to do that, but it is what it is) and this cushion works fine for that "sitting position" too. I previously used some cheaper (foam) cushions that were ok, until they quickly flatten, but even at their best they were never in the same league for comfort as this one. Anyway, I intend to ask for another one of these as a gift for the holidays, so I have another one for when I go out (most public/restaurant seating options are very painful for me). Highest marks for this.

As a RideShare driver, we unfortunately have a lot of time in the drivers seat. This cushion made a world of difference for those long days we spend in our vehicles. One side of cushion is non slip; so it don’t move around as you adjust occasionally.Definitely recommend; and am so glad I have it in my car.

I got this cushion in preparation for a long road trip while 6 months pregnant and I liked it a lot! It's immediately comfortable when you sit on it and stays comfortable for hours. It helped a lot with back and butt discomfort. We liked it so much we got a second for my husband in the other seat.My only complaint is that there's nothing to keep it anchored on the seat, so I'm trying to brainstorm some strap I can sew onto it so it stays in place better.

I sat on a Purple cushion once in a store demo and have wanted one ever since. But real people can't just throw $100 away on one seat cushion. Just bought this knock-off when I had to replace a ragged memory foam cushion. It's big enough to cover the whole seat, which I like, and very comfortable when I first sit down on it. The one place it falls short is that the gel gets softer and less supportive as it warms, which means the longer you sit on it, the deeper you sink into it. So, it's very comfy at first but after sitting for a time, I've sunk into it to the point where I'm basically sitting on the surface under it, and the cushion is no longer doing much to help. I like the feel of the gel and the fact that if I spill coffee on it, it isn't going to soak into it (Yep, that's what happened to the one I'm replacing). But the good price of this one gets a bit lost now that I realize I'll have to purchase an extra one or another memory foam layer to put under it.
