Recently switched to this brand after years and years of using Gain or Tide. I will never switch back! Leaves clothing visibly cleaner and smelling fresher, clean scent not a heavy perfume scent. Gentle on skin and all fabric types. Leaves fabric noticeably soft! Also this detergent is thicker so I don’t have to use as much as other brands I have used. Great value for the price! Definitely a quality detergent brand!!

Great product. Been using it just over the last few years and have been very happy. Ordinary wash comes out clean without a strong detergent smell or a starchy feel (after using wool balls in the dryer). I'm allergic to Tide but I have had no reaction to this. I still have to pre-treat stains like grease, grass, blood, etc. but I think that is the norm.

Firstly, I haven't used a ton of different detergents so my experience isn't exactly scientific. I would normally just get Tide or Gain at the store and move on with my life. But I recently got stuck using some Dollar General/Dollar Tree brand knock off stuff, and it really made it clear how important detergent can be so I wanted to put a little more effort into finding detergent that gets the clothes clean and also leaves them smelling good so when I put them on next time they still smell clean. None of the name brands ever did that, and it was fine, they smelled good for 10 minutes after taking them out of the dryer then became scentless, which was an improvement over smelling like sweat, so I never complained. I never knew life could be better. Once the knock off brand couldn't even clean the sweat smells out, I buckled down and found Persil. Unfortunately they don't sell the Oxi version at my local grocer, so I have to order it online, but its well-worth the trouble.Just be strict about how much you put in there (I usually put 3/4 of a cap) so you don't waste it and overuse it and it will last you a long time and in my experience the clothes are just as clean as any other good brand and smell incredible for weeks when in your closet. Persil is not overrated.If you have bad stains of stuff like grease, chemicals, things of that nature, you may want to get an old school powder detergent, but for day-to-day laundry needs, there's no better option in my (admitedly limited) experience.

Persil is great! I've had it on subscribe and save for years because it's the only detergent (plus a scoop of OxiClean) that will tackle the dirt & grease stains my husband brings home.Shipping however, is anyone's guess. Some months there's extra Gripper tape on the cap and it's bagged within the box... other months the whole bottle of detergent leaks out. What’s more annoying is Bolo would like me to return the practically empty, sticky jug of detergent to my local Kohls store before they'll issue a refund.

Persil only from now on
I won’t ever buy another laundry detergent after this its really good. My clothes feel so much cleaner and you only have to use a little amount. I’ve noticed my whites over a few washes got much whiter and my darks don’t look faded. Helps get out stains really well. Smells fresh with almost a slight citrus scent.

How it cleans
I just love this laundry soap, I've tried plenty different ones and I can say I'll stick to this I've never seen my clothes so clean and bright . Even got rid of old stains I've had on clothes.
