I feel like it gives you a good scalp massage. And even my cat likes it. Crazy thing I’ve tried all kinds of cat brushes to get the extra cat hair out. This thing even though it is not what it is for, really loosened up her undercoat and got a lot of extra cat hair off of her. So, I considered this a dual purpose scalp massager and cat deshedding tool. It’s super easy to hold and does a good job of massaging without ripping your skin. Just make sure if you are using in the shower to have shampoo in your hair in order for it to move smoothly.
