This set of scissors are super sharp, they cut like butter, but be careful the tip is also sharp and will cut too. they are quality made and come with a blade cover which I highly recommend you use it. You can put them in the dishwasher when you need to clean them or disinfect them. There is a choice of one pair or two to the set, well worth the money in my book, they made of stainless steel, overall length is about a little more than 8⅝". They have a nut cracker on the handle as well. The comfort-Grip handles are just that, they are comfortable in your hands to hold and when cutting hard to cut items as well. All in all these are a great pair of scissors and one that I will buy again in the future.👩🍳💕😍🥰

I've only had them a sort time. Got tired of the kids using my kitchen shears on everything, or worse yet, my scissors. I gave one for kids to use and tge other stays in the kitchen now. Couldn't be happier with the quality. They are solid, with enough weight that you know it durable metal. I was surprised that they are so sharp and cut with crisp lines. It doesn't chew at what you're cutting, it cuts cleanly. You can feel the quality with each cut. Wish that I bought these years ago. My kids are teenagers so I trust them with using these. I would not recommend letting younger kids use them unsupervised because they are sharp.
4.0 out of 5 stars Strong sharp blades of very hard stainless & comfortable grips
Four-inch blades of very hard stainless steel ground quite sharp. "Micro serrations" mentioned in product description do not result in a true serrated edge (as a steak knife might have). The serrations are located 1mm away from the actual smooth sharp edge of one blade. Not clear whether serrations will improve grip on slippery material. But having smooth straight cutting edges like this model allows for easier sharpening when needed compared to a true serrated edge.Sturdy blades appear to be connected by a strong metal bolt and very low-profile nut. I thought the blades could be separated for thorough cleaning by removing the nut, but my array of wrenches and gripping tools could not get hold of the nut to make it back off. Many other shears designed to use in the kitchen advertise easily separated blades to maintain hygiene, especially after cutting raw meats. Too bad this model doesn't work that way.Comfortable large loop handles being symmetric make it easy to use with either hand. Also convenient because when picking up the shears it doesn't matter which side the shears are lying on. (Compared to standard scissors handle with one smaller loop for the thumb.)I was not happy that the non-cutting edges of the blades had very sharp corners over their full length. (I'm referring to the sides of the blades opposite from the nicely ground cutting edges.) So, with the shears fully closed even though the cutting edges are protected, if you run your hand along the non-cutting edges, you could get a small cut. This sharpness probably resulted from the blades being stamped out of steel plate. I urge the manufacturer to add a step to the fabrication so those sharp corners would be softened by polishing. I was able to get that effect after an hour by using abrasive tools to dull the edges. The hardness of the steel was surprising and impressive.Sharp edges where you don't want them plus blades that can't be separated for cleaning knocked off one star from an otherwise excellent tool.
