I've had my Akaso Brave 7 LE for more than a month now, taking mostly videos around my backyard and attaching it my bike and taking several rides in and around my city. Here are my thoughts:- It is much smaller than I expected, but very well-built. And, I really like the tripod screw.- The video quality is very good at all resolutions that I tried. I use mostly 4k and 1080p.- Image stabilization is good but not great. But, it is still very acceptable. I did consider getting a DJI Osmo Action or GoPro 8, but decided to go with the Akaso based on price and so many positive Youtube video reviews.- The 20 MP image is very good, much, much better than I expected. (Note, photography has been my hobby for a long time, and I own several mirrorless cameras, so I believe than I am a good judge of image quality.)- The camera adjusts well to changes in light from bright sun to shadow and back.- The front facing screen seems to be nice to have, but is not that important to me as I am not a vlogger. However, when I am able to go on vacation again, I might want to try it. Also, I am terrible at taking selfies with my iPhone, and it was very, very easy to take a selfie with the Akaso.- The touchscreen and the menu system works very well.- Battery life is very good, plus it's great that Akaso provides two batteries, and the charger. Plus, you can charge the battery in the camera. But, the micro-usb connection from the computer to the camera is not a data connection, so you cannot transfer any files from the camera to the computer.- Although the wifi from the camera to an iPhone or iPad works well, it is very, very slow to transfer videos and photos. Typically, I just remove the micro SD card and insert it in my laptop, which is not a problem. I follow the same process with my DJI Spark drone.- Finally, it would be nice to have indicator lights on the top of the camera. When I have the camera mounted on my bike's handlebars, it's hard to know when I'm recording or not. While the wriststrap does work to start or stop recording or to take a photo, you are still not sure what you're doing unless you look at the screen at the back of the camera.- In summary, I think this is a very good action camera for the money! The more I use it, the more I like it!

Akaso Brave 7LEAs a professional architect, I have always needed site and existing condition information in developing projects. Over the years I have used SLR cameras and cell phone cameras and having to carry numerous measurement and drawing tools to get existing information. INow Ican use LiDAR scans and digital measurement tools to get accurate data, but the most important information is the subtle visuals that I can’t go back to double check on a unique item or condition. Photographs always seem to not be exactly pointed in the right direction, or didn’t get a specific issue cause of concept changes. Video provides a more detailed view of what is there, and can capture items that weren’t thought of as important during a on-site survey.In researching all the video cameras available, it was apparent that all cameras do not all have the features I wanted. The Brave 7 LE allowed me to get to a video camera that had the features I wanted at a fantastic price point,and with excellent quality output and ease of use,but even more appealing was the fantastic array of accessories available that allow me to use the camera the way I want. I have a monopole mount that allows steady movement and uniform height viewpoints, a small handheld tripod to allow setup on a surface and record client discussions and important design decisions.Saving the video files in the project directory allows effortlessly recall of forgotten content.The size and light weight makes data gathering easier and more accurate. The ability of the camera to update in connection with my iPhone app was an unexpected bonus. Some of the features that I was less than pleased with have been added and altered via online updates, great feature, and makes me feel this was a fabulous choice.My use so far has been beyond my initial goal. My daughter wants me to record important moments in my “life untold family history” . As II am not a great writer, I have decided to do a personal vlog on the camera to relate family moments that are long past. I think this is going to be a great way to address this task.

I've had action cams before and they were always disappointing. Someone recommended this to me so I thought I would give it a try, actually they had the older model. I'm not sure what the difference is but I'm very happy with this, it seems very well thought out.The video quality is way better than I expected. I'm not talking about the resolution, which is fine, I'm talking about the image quality itself there is no stutter no Shimmer no blur or anything that would make me sick while watching my own nauseating fishing videos.I like the Distortion correction feature, it works well in wide mode but you cannot use it with the image stabilization. I don't miss image stabilization because I'm not riding a bike or anything that would really require stabilization.I honestly see very little difference with stabilization on and off. Anyway that could always be done in post edit if necessary.The construction is solid the buttons are well placed.I like the power saving standby mode but note: requires two presses of the record button to start record. one press to wake and a second press to start record.The touch and swipe functions of the screen work well.The menu is intuitive and clean.There is a visible recording indicator light.The battery life is okay and will give you about 40 minutes of recording. Of course we always want more but the batteries are cheap enough that you can have 10.The nature of action cameras tend to clip videos into segments. This one does 10 minute segments.The audio quality is abysmal at best, but usable and there is no gain control .At this price point it is much more than I expected and I'm quite happy with it.

Decent value for its price.
Ease of use for the kids to get into videos/photos. but wifi connection to the app on the phone is rather finicky. otherwise shots are good and quality is decent. kids are enjoying the use of it.
Broken door latch.
Tiny piece of plastic broke away that secures the latch to battery / SD card. Basically now useless.Clearly defective. Tried to reach an amicable solution with AKASO, but they blew me off and are now ignoring my e mails.Low end, garbage camera constructed from nasty brittle plastic. You get less than you pay for.It makes a good match for the customer service.

A câmera é boa, com limitações mas tem um excelente custo x benefício. A vantagem é que ela vem recheada de acessórios, ou seja, praticamente tudo o que você precisará para começar a gravar as suas aventuras. Não se esqueça que você vai precisar com um cartão SD de até 64Gb, classe 10 UHS-I de excelente qualidade pra poder gravar em 4k. Recomendo a câmera e o vendedor responde as perguntas e cumpriu rigorosamente a descrição do anúncio.
