5.0 out of 5 stars This is for fun and tricks
(function(){ P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function'){ A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })() The media could not be loaded. This small drone behaves like a bigger racing drone definitely flys fast it’s durable I would recommend this for medium level FPV pilots, if your thinking of using this for FPV footage for sights and cool places this is not for that it’s for doing tricks and dives mostlyIt does not fly far at all but it’s definitely fun to flyNot for indoor, but a really good drone
1.0 out of 5 stars buyers beware
i was good until, it stopped working out of nowhere, plug in batteries and didn’t start up at all, no sound or lights on. Noticed that the board would just get super hot. so i assumed it’s toast. pretty disappointed
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect intermediate drone
Awesome upgrade from the tinyhawk 2. I flew the th2 indoors on 1s and outside on 2s, crashed a lot, and got better for around 3 months before buying this. I’d just started to feel the power limitations of the th2, and I’d say this thing has like 2x the power. It flies with a lot more inertia because of the weight, probably similar to how a 5” does. I wasn’t sure at first, because crashing tends to bend the props and you can’t turtle in grass, but once I flew a little more on it I came to really like it. I’d say it’s definitely the right drone for anyone looking to fly outdoors long term, but probably not best for a beginner.
4.0 out of 5 stars pros and cons
one this was my fault 100% but just putting it out there for other air heads getting into fpv and drone flying this does not come with a controller it’s sold separately so just get the $250 one with the headset and controller already with it but with that being said it seems fragile in some areas so be careful with putting the propellers on other than that even if it is a shit drone or breaks after a year get the warranty and if your warranty runs out this is a perfect base to start a new build on and create your own so you can learn more about fpv better camera quality and how your drone actually works but other than all that it’s a great drone to start off with if you’re semi what experienced with flying if not get the emax tiny hawk 1 with the vr head set to start off
3.0 out of 5 stars Great budget Drone to get into freestyle
If you have to have a 5” freestyle quad, but don’t have the budget, and then this Drone is probably going to work for you. Great profile one is for people who like to fly, thumbs, and rape profile two on betaflight is for people who pinch. AND…the parts are interchangeable and you can add your own upgrades!!! The only thing I would say about the drone is, out of the box. It feels like it is super floaty. You really have to have the throttle lowered down to get it to drop altitude. So there is a little bit of tuning work involved with this one. So you either like the fact that you have to work with a little bit, or not.You also have to be careful about the radio protocol (Frsky/ELRS/crsf) you use with the drone, because if you start to fly behind yourself on frsky with a cheap radio, the drone can drop out of the sky because of RX loss. this can be simply fixed by purchasing the Tiny Hawk 2 with a different protocol like ELRS or crsf.Highly recommend if you want something geared for freestyle.
1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing but problems
I do not recommend this product. This is nothing but problems. I wish I got something different.
1.0 out of 5 stars Awful, good lol getting help from EMAX
WHEN it breaks, it will take months and months (yes, literally months) for EMAX to fix your drone and return it to you. And, that’s if they fix your drone at all…. Get a TinyWoop.
5.0 out of 5 stars so small and so fast)
Nice tiny drone for beginners(like me), really fast and great for starting freestyle flying, but it has bit cons:* batteries have ridiculous socket, it should be xt30 or something else, really uncomfortable to plug/unplug it, but you can change it* need to replace vtx antenna/receiver module(put crossfire) for better signal and more distance) (optional)
