5.0 out of 5 stars Good, heavy solid pans
I love these pans, they feel heavy and solid and they heat evenly. The bottoms are flat and sit well on my glass top stove. I use a little drop of oil and the non stick works well. Some reviews have noted that the handles become loose, I haven’t experienced that yet but it’s easy enough to tighten the screw. Just don’t over tighten them. One review said the glass lid shattered. If the lid knob screw is tightened too much, it will stress the glass. It may not shatter straight away, but a slight knock in the future will cause it to break. Again, don’t over tighten the screws.I’m really happy with these pans. I’m also happy that the price was reduced when I bought them.
5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!
These are the BEST pans I have ever purchased. They are so easy to clean and the food doesn’t stick. I have purchased three sets, one for me and two for my two sons that live in the dorms.
5.0 out of 5 stars the product
These are a nice set of skillets. I bought them to separate kosher cooking from treif. They feel good, have a good weight, and the coating on them is trying to stay unblemished. They clean easily. I didn't get lids for them (probably should have, but all the lids I have are glass so they can be washed and koshered if need be). I can recommend them for occasional use in the kitchen, but if you are hard on pots and pans from every day use, my bet is that the coating on these would be toast within a month. If you really use pans hard every day, cast iron or copper clad are your best choices.
5.0 out of 5 stars Non stick pans
Nice look . Easy to handle . Great for eggs. Value for the money.
4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing pans, but what's up with the weird lid handles?
I'll start out by saying that these pans appear to be very high quality and are pretty to look at. Mine arrived in great shape. I've done some cooking with them (on a glass-top stove) and they are indeed no stick. I have cooked eggs without using anything to keep them from sticking. The eggs just slid out of the pan and onto the plate.I think with these pans IT'S IMPORTANT TO READ THE LITTLE MANUAL THAT COMES WITH THEM BEFORE YOU USE THEM. There are some recommendations there that will make these pans last a lot longer. They recommend that you coat the inside of each pan with cooking oil on low stove-top heat for two minutes...let cool and then wipe off. I did this and the oil did indeed soak into the pan like it was supposed to, making it VERY non-stick. My guess is that this might need to be done from time to time. Also, they recommend that you don't take a hot pan right off the stove and put cold water into it...it may scald. Things like this are important to know. So be sure to read your manual.I took one star off because I think the knob handles on the glass lids are weird. They are wood (looking) and then have this rubber leaf-shaped thing that goes on the end. My rubber ends keep coming off. Why was the lid handle not just rounded on the end to keep things simple? The massive lid handles make the lids hard to stack and store. I think this is supposed to be a "design" thing...but to me, it's "form over function". You do have to attach all of the wooden handles and knobs to the pans and I have to admit that I'm impressed that they included a perfectly good Phillip's screwdriver with the pans. Other than those wonky lid handles, these are fantastic pans.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good value
This is a good overall value for your money. The pans have a good weight to them but are not overly heavy. The bottom of the pans are flat so they make good contact with the glass top stove. They heat up evenly and retain the heat very well. The nonstick is good (remember to season it) and cleans up is easy.Let's face unless you buy thick stainless steel or cast-iron pans you will be buying nonstick pans every few years, the trick is to get a good value for your money that will last a good amount of time and I think these will.
5.0 out of 5 stars Holds up
These have held up good so far. For the price, I am fine if they last a few years. If they start to chip I would replace them. Hand wash and dishwasher both seem fine. I cook with them every day. I would just advise to be more careful if you are using metal utensils.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great pans
As advertised. Truly non stick. Best pans I have ever purchased. Reasonably priced, way better than more expensive sets I have purchased in the past.
