First of all I think this product is an upgrade from the stock Astro provided cable. I have the Astro A40tr And they fit and work great. The cord is a different as this replacement has its cord braided but I prefer this 100x more than the default Astro Cable because my issue with the Astro cables were that it would get tangled often. Overall I prefer this product and it has so far been great.

The quality of the cord was fine. I ordered it for my PS4 to connect to my headset. There are only 3 - pole connectors. You need one 4 pole to access the mic.

I was using the original Astro A40 cable for about 2 years before the mute button started failing. Bought this cable as a replacement, and it was working pretty well despite not being official. Unfortunately, 2 months in, it looks like the quality wasn't too great. It pops and crackles when I use the mute switch, and currently the is completely cut out.Edit: The seller reached out to me and told me that they were terribly sorry for the inconvenience and were working on sourcing a new manufacturer to improve the quality of the product, and also provided a generous refund for the product. It's unfortunate that the original product inconvenienced me, but I appreciate the service the seller provided by reaching out, promising to improve their product, and remediating my situation.

Both of my boys have either chewed on the cable or yanked on them too hard.. So I purchased two of these and fixed both of my boys headsets.The kids are happy and aren't yelling to each other across the house. So now I'm happy.

This is a good product for what you pay for, it has good sound quality, the mute function doesn't crackle when activated which a lot of other cables do, and it is affordable.

Cord stop working a month in a half in would recommend buying one from Astro there self it’s 9.99 and you would for sure know it’s good quality

The cord arrived quickly and works great, besides the fact that it will sometimes cause a staticky noise. Doesn’t happen all the time but when it does it is quite annoying
