I have a chandelier that needs a bunch of these. It is unfortunate the market for B39 style smart bulbs is so niche but these things perform absolutely perfectly. Phillips really has the design and aesthetic down for these. They have a 'bulb within a bulb' look which looks excellent. The brightness and color reproduction are outstanding.

Very expensive for a single bulb, which is why it only gets 4 stars for my review. The bulb is perfect in every other way. The different colors war brighter than cheaper competitors products. So far they seem to be long lasting. No problems yet.

I replaced the bulbs in the 5-bulb chandelier that hangs over the stairway to the basement. Combined with a Hue motion sensor the stairs now light up whenever I go down.

Absolutely Fantastic!
For the last 4 months, I have been using this 4 pack of generic E12 bulbs for my ceiling fan. Each bulb didn't even last ONE MONTH before burning out!Good thing they were only 5 bucks, but that's not the point.The main reason I bought those cheap ones was because I didn't know which socket my fan used and I didn't want to spend the money for a Hue bulb that didn't fit.So when I realized E12 was the correct socket, I knew I needed to buy one of these as soon as possible.I'd say the wait was rough, but as I said, the cheap kind didn't last long. I've been using the Hue bulb for a month now and it's fantastic! There's no sign of burning out and it's just as bright as ever.The ability to dim the lights is nice and it's perfect for when you get up in the middle of the night and don't want to hurt your eyes, but the fact that it can change colour is AWESOME!Some days, you just want the lights to be green, y'know?The fan is right next to my computer, so I use Hue Sync when I watch movies or play games on it, which is so fun to do. There is nothing cooler than watching a movie, then suddenly, everything goes dark. It really helps with immersion.These lights do small things, but they add a lot when used right.Get one as soon as you can.
