Used my pressure washer with the new pump for 5 hours today. Pressure washed a deck prior to staining. Pump put out expected pressure and flow. I did have one instance where flow dropped off and didn't immediately come back. I had to release the trigger on the wand. Once I pressed the trigger again the pressure and flow returned to normal. I suspect the unloader valve hung up. I am considering an inlet filter rather than just a screen due to the quality of my water supply.

My pump was leaking and pressure declining. Purchased this pump and received it in 2 days. The installation was less than 15 minutes and most of that was getting the old pump off. I hooked it up and was amazed at the difference in pressure. I'm very impressed. I will use it this week to powerwash my porch. Much cheaper than a rebuild kit and the unit seems very solid.

Not really a review of the pump itself, but rather a review of the listing information. The listing should have specified the size and thread of the four included mounting bolts, which turns out to be M8-125 by 1 inch long. My Honda GX160 uses 5/16-24 and I believe other Honda's in the GX series also do. Knowing that ahead of time would have been helpful and the correct bolts could have been obtained prior to receiving the pump.I upped my rating to 4 from 3 because the pump actually worked well with my Honda GX160. I used it for about an hour straight.

This pressure washer pump is a replacement for the original Generac pump. After comparing prices, features and Bolo Prime shipping, I decided to try this. It is a perfect fit for Harbor Freight's 6 HP Preditor engine. Four bolts to mount and the pump is installed and ready to operate.The very first thing I noticed was the increase in pressure over the old 2300# pump.Be ready to hold tightly to your wand as this has tremendous pressure and WILL push back quickly."I would advise to be used only by adults or someone with sufficient strength to hold it to avoid injury."(The bolt pattern is/was also the same as my original Briggs engine.)Pricewise I purchased this pump and the engine(with HF discount coupon) for a little over $200.This is approx. half the price of a new outfit. Very good deal if your existing cart and hose/wand are in good condition. My purchase will be used as the homeowner vs. commercial use and should last for years.I am second owner of the original unit, having used it for 22 years. I ocassionaly run a container of pump conditioner through to keep it in good working order. The only reason I bought the pump was I damaged it when doing the motor changeout. I would advise strongly, to apply some ANTI-SEIZE to the motor shaft prior to sliding the new pump on. This makes disassembly much easier and is also recommended in the instructions for the pump.

Cheaper to replace with this unit than replace all the seals in my old unit. Unfortunate I had to waste a decent pump but this is a great replacement.

I received it in the male and installed it immediately, put it to work.Replaced my Craftsman 580.752230 pressure water pump.Works better than the original.Came with hardware, flat, lock and bolt to fasten to the motor but the bolts were wrong threads. Used the original threads and the new flats, and locks.Another amazing thing, it came with its own key, made it so much easier to install too.Also came with soap tubing, and water inlet screen/O-ring really good workmanship.Excellent price.
