About this item:
Gorilla Mounting Putty is ideal for hanging light weight items in place of traditional tapes, push pins, and fasteners. Squares are non-toxic, repositionable, and long lasting. Great for use indoors and temporary outdoor use. Use on paper, painted walls, wood, tile, metal, posters, plastic, glass, and more!
Directions:
1. Ensure both surfaces are clean and dry.
2. Remove desired amount of putty squares for application. Use directly from package without kneading and apply approximately 4 squares of putty per 1lb of weight. Not recommended for hanging objects over 2lbs.
3. Apply square(s) to the object being mounted allowing for even distribution of weight.
4. Press object firmly in place for 30 seconds to allow Gorilla Mounting Putty to conform to the surface and create a strong bond.
Tips for Use:
• Apply when temperature is above 50°F. Recommended in use temperature range: 50-85°F (10-30°C)
• Remove mounted items carefully and dab to lift excess putty.
Important:
• Not for use on applications where injury could result if mounted item fell.
• Not recommended for use on freshly painted walls or flocked wallpaper.
• Avoid direct exposure to water.
• May stain some surfaces.

I absolutely love this Gorilla mounting putty! It's perfect for me because it's super renter friendly. I can hang small decorations on the wall and remove it at any time without worrying about any sort of damage to the decor or paint coming off the wall. I've purchased it before and 1 small package lasted me several months! Extremely affordable, very good adhesive quality, and super easy to apply! 10/10 recommend!

As good as any other putty. Adheres and removes easily and can be reused if needed. I didn't leave the things I hung up for over a week and didn't use on anything very heavy so I cant speak to that.One issue is the so called "pre cut" pieces...they are useless. the cuts are not all the way through and didn't come apart at the cuts. You have to either pinch off how much you need or cut off with scissors.

Our district removed the bulletin boards from every classroom over the summer without notice. All the teachers on my hall tried masking tape, duck tape, scotch tape, packing tape, 3M hooks... and nothing worked on the painted cinder blocks we were left with. I ordered this and shared it with everyone. It holds up paper, posters and decorative borders. Best part is it's not sticky on your fingers!

I am a middle school teacher and I purchased this in place of command strips or regular wall putty for hanging posters and required items. I always had a problem with things falling off the walls over the weekend when they air conditioner would be turned off and the school would get warmer. This made items fall off the wall and it was annoying. This stays in place and no issues !! Will repurchase.

Can stick on back of pictures to put on wall. Can use to level anything on your wall. Not sticky. Can remove easily. Also molds to any thickness. So easy to use. Love it.

I recently started living in a series of old houses that have Plath and Plaster walls (not drywall) and ended up leaving one place looking like an Old West shootout had occurred in the bedroom. During our stay I found that regular tape,double sided tape, nails, and wall anchors did little to hold anything, eventually having luck with industrial strength mounting tape and very long screws. Unfortunately both left significant damage upon removal and neither is a good option for renters.I mention "The Dollar Tree" a lot in my reviews because I have always been poor and have always considered myself a thoughtful shopper. The Dollar Tree (until recently, a genuine [one] dollar store) has poster tack that I have purchased numerous times. It does little to hold anything heavier than a piece of printer paper (in my experience). So I did not have high expectations for this product. I was pleasantly surprised! It works great, even in very tiny quantities. It is a nice discreet color and a good value. I'd buy it again. I'd recommend wiping down (wash and dry) any surface you are using before you hang anything, and follow the instructions.
Works really well
It’s only been a few days but the items on the wall are still there. Had to readjust which was easy and slick… no mess and no paint removed. Like this product… looking to use elsewhere now that I know it works so well!

It’s a great product, not just for office uses but for anything that isn’t too heavy that needs to be stuck in it’s place.

This putty is amazing, I used it to stick things on my walls in my static caravan . Works perfectly.
Works great for acoustic foam!
I purchased this putty to attach acoustic foam to the wall and ceiling in a music room. This made the job so easy and it adhered with no issues.
Holds great! But did peel the paint for me
Fantastic and grips to surfaces well but it did peel some paint off even though it says it won’t which is a little unfortunate. To be fair the paint is incredibly old.
