The item is just as described. I appreciate its compact, simple, and sturdy design. I mainly used this as a stand for a Chromebook to be a passive display for my appointments and time sheets. The angle this stand makes allows the Chromebook to take up less space than if it were to lay flat on my desk. The hinges are very sturdy and they have maintained its positions ever since I used it.

Folks who are hesitating to get this because of the reviews saying it’s stiff , do not hesitate! These are supposed to be stiff ! Imagine if the stand wasn’t ridged, it would drop your $1000 + laptop ! These are made to be sturdy and hold your laptop without being flimsy . I bought this a long time ago and it’s still held up . You can easily adjust it , and it’ll stay in its place .

This is a lower priced stand but it works perfectly well. The only issue is that it is difficult to loosen the screws that keep the stand in the configuration that you want. This is also probably the reason that the stand is so stable even with a laptop on it.

This stand is fantastic for my drawing tablet. Takes a little strength to change the angle, which is deal for this kind of thing. I use a heavy tablet and this stand handles it no problem. It's a quality metal that really does make a difference.My only wish is that the "anti-slip" material at the bottom actually did prevent slippage. I have to move my mouse pad out of the way to use the stand, and even then it doesn't totally stay put on my wood desk. I prefer some reliance in positioning when drawing.Otherwise a fantastic stand, a steal for the price! Bonus points for looking great in my setup as well.

Highly recommended this for anyone looking for a solid stand for their iPad Pro 12.9The back of the stand is the same dimensions of my iPad Pro 12.9Not sure how “portable” this stand would be if you try to fold it flat and place it in a backpack or piece of luggage. I imagine going on a multi day business trip with luggage it would make sense and practical. Around the house, while laying in bed, working outside my apt at a table, it works great. I just pick up the stand “as is” and move from room to room as needed.It’s a bit challenging to adjust; very tight hinges. This though is probably a good thing. Last thing you want is placing a $3000 iPad Pro on a stand and have the weight of make it crash.The stand has two nice rubber strips approx 10” x 1” running vertically on the left and right back facing to your iPad to keep it from sliding. It works well; high quality.If I had an iPad smaller that 12.9” I probably wouldn’t like it personally. Seeing the metal back panel as its dimensions are approx 10” x 12” would aesthetically bother me.I don’t own a Mac Book Pro currently so I can’t share feedback on its sturdiness. I imagine it would work well.Tip:I use a folding travel keyboard case I believe named “the origami”. It folds into a stand when open, folds flat when closed fully protecting the $99+ Apple Bluetooth keyboard.I also have a plastic foldable table which is perfect when in bed on hanging out in the park sitting in a low profile beach chair. It folds into the shape of one of those “breakfast in bed” trays. Works perfectly for my use case.
Simple to use, sturdy enough
I have a Lenovo Yoga (which is not a heavy laptop) on the stand. If I type on the laptop or nudge the desk the stand is on, the laptop will wiggle a little bit, but it doesn't bother me. I can rest my hands/wrists on my laptop keyboard and type with force without worrying that the laptop will lower. It will wiggle a bit, but not lower.I like how flat the stand's base is. It allows me to tuck my external keyboard over it a bit to reduce the space everything takes up on my desk.
Es mas de lo que esperaba , con un buen precio.
Pros:- Buen precio- Excelente ajuste - se puede acomodar de muchos modos de manera sencilla- El material en la parte inferior hace que no se derrape sobre el escritorio- Pense que el peso de mi laptop viejita iba a ser demasiado, pero el soporte lo resistio como campeon!Contras:- Por lo delgado de los soportes, cuando el escritorio se mueve, la base baila mucho, si tu escritorio se mueve mucho, va a temblar mucho. Si este es tu caso, te recomiendo otros soportes de construccion fija y mas gruesos.- Con el uso, los tornillos que permiten el ajuste se van a aflojar (aun no me ha sucedido). Recomiendo dejarlo en el ajuste deseado y no moverlo tanto para evitar se aguaden las uniones y se caiga.

Support dans les mêmes tons que mon MacBook Pro, ce support est ultra compact quand il est replié (rentre dans mon sac à dos pour ordinateur san problème). C’est devenu un indispensable pour mes journées de télétravail pour ne pas avoir mal aux cervicales, d’autant qu’on peut régler à la hauteur exacte c’est parfait
