I was not happy with the fittings I purchased. Quality pipe threads machined to NPT standard are tapered, so that if you screw a male and female thread together they will not bottom out before you apply the final torque to the joint. The threads on these fittings bottomed out when I threaded on a male pipe nipple, so I knew immediately that the threads were not NPT quality suitable for carrying natural gas. I returned the fittings I purchased. When I bought replacement fittings from another source that were Schedule 40, I compared them to the returned fittings which were smaller in size with thinner walls. I would not recommend these and will not be buying them again.
