I bought this hourglass for my husband because he wanted an hourglass for his desk. He was thrilled to see it measured sand release to approximately one hour. He really liked the red sand and black frame-- red and black being his favorite colors.

I was worried about the sand color, because of previous reviews with photos of the red being orange. I like orange, but I wanted red for this and that is exactly what I got, yay! I always hope that the very honest reviews help the seller make changes, buy better products & in this case it seems that they made sure the color would be correct; it saves them on returns. I placed 2 true red items in either side of the hourglass, in case photo quality wasn't enough. I bought it because a friend said watching the sand would help my busy mind relax for meditation and it did!!! I love it!!!

I love my hourglass. I did get the black sand and it is difficult to see the movement of the sand. I added a white piece of paper behind it and it fixed that.Sometimes it does get clogged as if it has a tiny bit of moisture in the glass although I haven't seen any humidity. It helps focus my attention and helps a day at work feel like it seems shorter.

Gerade die Uhr abgeholt und ausgepackt. Überall sind Kitschen im Holz und Kratzer im Glas. Durch die Metallstäbe werden Stangen gesteckt, auf deren Enden Muttern geschraubt werden. Doof nur, wenn eine Mutter fehlt und der Stab dadurch beim Drehen einfach rausrutscht bzw. die Uhr deswegen auf der einen Seite nur in Schieflage stehen kann. Preis/Leistung einfach nur unterirdisch.
