Receive product today and try out. It looks nice, compact and very easy to use. Just a little push down on the base and whatever on top will lock in place. But I do have 2 suggestions: have extra grooves (0.5mm thick) on the removable top for easy grab and use wingnut instead of normal round type to tight it up.

This quick release mechanism is sturdy and easy to use. It saves so much time not having to screw camera equipment on/off. I buy one for every piece of camera equipment I can. I highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. The thread on the bottom of my Zoom H8 sound recorder was starting to wear off from constant, everyday use and screwing it on and off a little tripod. Something had to be done and I started looking for a plate that could be permanently attached to the H8 and would easily let me put it on the tripod and take it back off. This little gizmo does the job PERFECTLY!! It is also very lightweight and seems super durable. It made it VERY easy to give it 5 stars!!!

Honestly works exactly as I was expecting and hoping it would. I bought 2 so I could put one on my tripod and one on my crane 2 so I could easily swap out my camera instead of having to change the proprietary mounting plate that came with the crane 2. I just balanced the gimbal with everything assembled. Makes my job sooooo much easier. Having to balance my gimbal every time I wanted to use my crane 2 was a nightmare and completely unprofessional on the job. My only wish is that they sold a combo with multiple bases and one camera attachment. I don’t want to have to buy both pieces together when I only use 1 camera at a time but have multiple tripods and gimbals I want to hot swap. Your camera may sit up a bit higher bc of the shape of the attachment, but I seriously gotta recommend it. Solid product.

I have NO idea what some of the other reviewers are complaining about! This is the best quick release solution of its kind for MEDIUM to SMALL cameras. The only worry I had before buying it was that some parts might not be perfectly tight, allowing a little jiggling. Those worries were immediately dispelled when my camera clicked in place - the mount is rock solid with NO jiggling at all! I absolutely love its simplicity and effectiveness. It has a brilliant button lock mechanism, preventing any accidental release of the camera. Admittedly, this system is kind of pricey, but if you value your camera and convenience, it's worth every penny! Get this thing - you will not regret it!

Sturdy heavy duty
Rock-solid little system
It was smaller and more solidly built than I expected, which I was quite happy about. Everything snugs up very securely. I will be getting a few more so I have nice fast changes between my other tripods.

La rueda para fijar la placa al trípode es muy cómoda y mejor que otras opciones de tipo anilla. Para mi es un producto 100% recomendable

Nice, compact and sturdy little piece of kit that's made swapping my camera between mounts and tripods much less of a hassle.I've had other items of this type where the build quality left a lot to be desired, but this one is decent.Plus the box is nice, and I always rate a good box!
