I recommend to wash them before use ..

When I lived in Arizona I could just go to the grocery store to get these varieties of dried peppers, but not where I live now. So it's nice to be able to have them delivered.The price was reasonable, and I am very happy with the quality.I used half to make a pretty awesome beef Chile Colorado (if I do say so myself).Deseeding and dry roasting are highly recommended before soaking and blending, but not absolutely necessary.These were good quality, whole, well dried peppers, IMHO and experience.Definitely recommend.

All 3 packages of peppers showed up overly dried out which was a bummer since it was my first order with this company. The pepper tasted pretty decent though once rehydrated. Overall not bad.
