I got this for our front gate. We recently fenced and gated our yard, and I wanted to be able to lock the gate (it has a forked latch). This works perfectly with the long shank and the smaller lock. It is small enough that it fits into the large outdoor key box that I have, but large enough that it works well for the gate. The long shank makes it easy to get to the lock to use the key.

Got tired of buying locks from an extremely large retailer every few months due to severe rusting issues. This product has stood up to outdoor use very well. Still going strong after many months of being exposed to the elements.

This narrow width hasp fits a ball-type trailer hitch very well and keeps the latch from accidentally, or, 'accidentally' opening. That's why we got it, and it seems perfect for our use. We're specifically *NOT* securing a high-value trailer against theft. Good lock and good value at under $15 for two locks in February 2022.The description says waterproof. After two rains, positioned nearly horizontally on a stationary trailer hitch, it opened easily and would not close / lock. We worked in some Master Lock PTFE Lock Lubricant (ASIN B004FV4TNE) in the keyhole and both sides of the hasp. It's back to working easily (like new!). Hasn't rained since, we'll see, and we'll keep the lubricant on hand.

This lock seems sturdy it has a nice weight to it. I like that it comes with extra keys and I didn't have to struggle to unlock it.Hopefully it doesn't rust quickly, we will see overtime.

Heavy solid anti-rust brass w/a longer shackle, which is exactly what I needed. Shackle is anti-saw hardened steel. All around well made & works perfectly for its intended use. Glad I found it & would buy again.
