I love this jacket!! It is lightweight!! Keeps me warm on those single digits and even negative digit days. I have had 3 neck surgeries so I can’t have a heavy jacket. This one is very comfortable, easy to move around in. I got the XXL I am 5 foot 7 inch I am top heavy. I weight 162. Enough room to layer up if I want.. but I really didn’t need too I ended up removing layers. Great buy!! Love the thumb holes helps keep the cold air out but when you don’t need them they tuck back in the sleeves very nicely. No inside pockets.The hood was a little big for me.. but if you wear a hat should be perfect!! The wind doesn’t get through, rain doesn’t get through. It is long enough cover my bottom.And it is a great looking jacket.. I would definitely buy it again!!

This is a great jacket. Well made. I like the fabric. The wine red is a lovely color. The faux fur on the collar and inside the hood is very soft. I like the thumb holes. The pockets seem roomy. It is ideal for the cold weather we are having in Southern California now - in the forties and fifties. Only a few downsides: there's a plastic patch with the company logo in orange. It doesn't go with the dressy look of the jacket. The hood was large on me, but you can tighten it up with drawstrings. The jacket is not detachable. I like the look of the hood because the black faux fur dresses it up. I am 5'3", 122 lbs, and the small fit me perfectly.

I love this coat. I took it to Norway and it kept me super warm. The orange contrast is cute. The hood is very soft and easily removed and replaced. The cuffs are a little long but I just turned them inside when I didn't want to use the thumb holes. Love this coat. True to size.

This jacket is nice and warm for Indiana winters. The super soft fur on the hood and collar is so comfy.Unfortunately, after reading the reviews, I ordered UP but now it's too big! I want to reorder in a smaller size. (I weigh 130 lbs and am 5'3" and ordered a large). I need to get a medium. I said "I WANT to order a smaller size", BUT, am conflicted. One of the sleeves has a big "S" on it but it's not a size sticker-it stands for the brandname! It looks ridiculous and can't be removed. I can only guess how many people would be coming up to me to let me know that I had a size sticker on my coat that I needed to remove. Bummer!!I would like to recommend to the company that this is an eyesore, and maybe they need to go back to the drawing board for another way to advertise their brand in a more subtle way.Otherwise, it's a perfect coat!♡♡♡♡Edit: I have noticed on other similar puffer jackets from other brands have a similar "rubber name tag" on the sleeve. Must be a new "thing". This is fine if it's a name or picture. But, I guess that just the letter "S" does indeed look like a tagsomeone forgot to remove.

I run very very cold. I wore this with a fleece liner in 30 degrees at night for a 45 minute walk and my torso was very warm. It's a thick quality coat. The hood is super thick and warm. I'm 5'5 140 lbs and the medium fits with a fleece liner and sweatshirt, but it was snug in the shoulders. Without a fleece liner, beyond comfortable and loose with just a sweatshirt. But it's fitted very flattering also, without being tight or restrictive. Very high quality for the price. I bought the maroon and black lining-beautiful color. If you have broad shoulders and wear alot of layers, you may want to order an extra size up to test it out for tightness. If you're looking for high warmth and quality at a super low price, this is the coat. Can't recommend highly enough.

I looked at so many warm jackets and when you look at the review photos, the coats look quite different than what you see on the model. This jacket runs true to the photo on the model. Nice material, a nice fit, and attractive. I am 5'8 and 138 pounds. The large fits great even with a heavy sweater under it. I live in Texas, the other day I had to work outside all day and the temperatures never went above 35 degrees. I added a pair of gloves and a wrap-around for my neck and stayed pretty comfortable all day long. Highly recommend.

truly a nice jacket
This jacket is so, so nice. Truly much nicer than I expected. It looks like the pictures and it is well-made. It is also comfortable and warm. I bought it to use as a midlayer under my lightly insulated ski jacket and was so, so excited to use it until it arrived at my house, I tried it on, and realized the fill felt like down. I went back and re-read the details about it and sure enough, the fill is down. I hemmed and hawed for several days about returning it, but ended up biting the bullet and returning it because I know that although extremely warm and comfy, down loses its loft and therefore its warmth when it gets wet. It even becomes quite cold the wetter it gets. I was concerned that perspiration during a day of skiing would dampen it to the point that it would no longer be warm, but actually cold, since the inner lining of the jacket is very thin; there's not much material between your body and the down fill. I'm still sad about it but I had to look for another jacket that has synthetic fill instead. Having said that, PLEASE do not hesitate to buy this jacket if you need it for a different purpose than I did: it is really really beautiful, fitted nicely to the body, comfortable, and has wonderful features like the fur-lined collar that zips nice and high, the removable fur-lined hood, the side panels that feel like a hug and form to your shape without being too tight, the storm cuffs and wrist cuffs, good zippers, and reasonable price for all you're getting! Also, if you're thinking about getting the white and are wondering about its shade: it is a true, snow white, not an ivory or cream. :) It's really sharp. If I could have afforded to keep it as a regular jacket and buy another jacket to use as a midlayer for skiing, I absolutely would have. Highly, highly recommend this jacket!!!
SLOW DOWN Women's Hooded Quilted Down Jacket - medium - white - as advertised
I bought this item for my 12 year daughter and she is 16.5" across the shoulders and her hips are about 35". The medium size fits well with a little extra room to grow. The product appears to be well made. The white jacket is white and not an off white. As for how warm it is well time will tell. When you hold it up to the light you can see through the material and the placement of the insulation. As we live in Sydney and our winters are rarely very cold I do not expect this to be a big issue but I will try to update this review at the end of winter. The faux collar and hoody lining is well done. My daughter confirmed it is a keeper and if it can pass her critical eye that is good enough for me.
Nice Coat!
So glad I ordered the pink down jacket! I’m 5’4”, 125 lbs and ordered a Small. It has a very light sheen to it. The fit is awesome ! I like that it covers the bum area. The sleeves are a bit longer , but I like that. The cuffs for your thumbs are a nice thicker ribbed material. The hood is not big and bulky like some other jackets . The fur lining around the neck feels good. It is a warm coat . I had the famous superpuff coat but it’s way too bulky and too hot for in the car and in stores. This coat is very comfortable and seems to be sufficient so far :)
